Rohan's POV :

After a day filled with exploration and adventure, we returned to our hotel, which turned out to be much better than the last one.

Thankfully, this time we were allocated two rooms, sparing me from having to sleep on the floor again.

After changing into more comfortable clothes, Siddhart and I headed to the hotel restaurant area to meet Alisha and Nandani.

It was nearing 11 pm, just an hour before my birthday, and I couldn't help but wonder if they had something planned for the occasion.

However, when Alisha and Nandani finally arrived, they came empty-handed, which left me feeling a bit disheartened.

Nevertheless, we had dinner together, sharing laughter and stories, although I found myself quieter than usual. When they asked, I simply brushed it off, claiming I was tired.

After dinner, we decided to take a walk outside, enjoying the cool evening breeze.

Alisha and Nandani couldn't resist playing on the swings like children, but our fun was cut short when a sudden thunderstorm rolled in, causing Nandani to flinch.

Knowing Nandani's hatred to rain due to her allergies, I quickly covered her and led her back inside the hotel.

As I walked her to her room, she surprised me with a forehead kiss and whispered, "Happy birthday, Roo."

Her gesture touched me deeply, and I hugged her tightly, overcome with emotion. "You remembered?" I asked, feeling grateful for her thoughtfulness.

She nodded, blushing slightly. "Not just me, Alisha and Siddhart remembered too, but I told them to wish you in the morning."

Confused by her choice of timing, I questioned, "Why in the morning?"

Her cheeks flushed even more, and she admitted shyly, "Because I want to spend the night with you."

Her words made my heart race with anticipation, but she misunderstood my hesitation,

she looked offended and moved away from me. I reached out and pulled her towards me, holding her close to my chest.

"I just wanted to make sure you're comfortable," I reassured her, placing my finger firmly under her chin as I looked into her eyes.

She softened at my touch, and with a hint of vulnerability in her voice, she replied, "I know, but I wanted to..."

Before she could finish, I interrupted gently, "But, Nandani-"

She cut me off, looking slightly hurt, "Why do you always assume the worst?"

I tightened my grip on her hand and pulled her closer, whispering, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you."

She met my gaze, her eyes reflecting a mixture of emotions.

"I just wanted to spend this special night with you," she confessed softly.

Moved by her sincerity, I caressed her cheek tenderly , "I understand, and I want that too."

the intensity of the moment overwhelmed me as I kissed Nandani fiercely, my desire igniting like a wildfire.

Carrying her in my arms, I laid her gently on the bed, our lips still locked in a passionate embrace.

Breaking the kiss momentarily, I removed my t-shirt, feeling her gaze linger on my chest.
