Chapter - 7 - Anime world seperated by a portal to the real world

= Sakumi Shiri's POV =

I woke up with an aching pain in my ankle; the after cause of yesterday's little 'accident' I made. Now that it's all over, why oh why did I even thought of doing that? I could have just greeted Kai-I mean Akashi-san like a normal person. The surprising thing was he actually knew me. Well, worth it.

I got up, slightly limping but the pain has faded slightly, making me able to somehow walk. I washed up, changing into a blue spaghetti shirt and a short white criss-cross pattern skirt, tying my dark blue---nearly black---hair up in a high pony-tail.

Limping downstairs, I see Ria shuffling through the channels, her legs on the sofa taking up the entire space. That's my cousin for you, getting up early in the morning. Yep, totally different from her lazy cousin. Dressed up in a dark blue tracksuit and a sky blue bandana around her neck and she put up those bluest contacts lens, I could tell that she dressed up as one of the characters from her most adored and most loved, animes.

"Ohayo, Ria," I said and she looked up lazily from watching a channel, and waved her hand. "Boungiorno." She replied in her native tongue (even though Japanese is also her native), focusing her eyes back to the television. "Have you eaten breakfast?" She nodded, as she started complaining about the movie that was coming from the channel she switched on while I headed over to the dining table. She somehow seems to hate it, even though she was watching it.

"Is your feet okay?" She asked, her concern showing in her tone. "Yes it has healed pretty fast. Even though I still have some difficulty walking." She nodded, as I finished up my breakfast and stack the plates in the sink. I planned on washing them later, even though I pretty much know that Ria's gonna do it.

"Any plans for today?" I asked her, just to break off the silence. That's the thing about me, I hate silence. Even though I knew silence was what I seeked like two weeks before when that jackass that I dreadfully missed---now just complete hatred for him---and couldn't forget. She shook her head, probably too lazy to do something as she closed off the television. I suddenly got and idea when I looked at her outfit. "I was wondering if I should go to the anime shop." Her eyes flickered over to me, an unfamiliar sparkle in her eyes. I knew I got her attention. "Wanna come alo-"

"Yes!!! I definitely will!!" She shouted out before I could even finish. I smiled, pleased with myself to see that she was happy.

Anime was the only thing that could make her happy. Since she return from America, all she does was watch anime. For some reason, that's the only thing that could make her happy. Never once she has that friendly glitter in her eyes without anime. Never once she laugh out that beautiful and and sweet laugh of hers since she came back from America. It has always been the throaty, half-hearted laugh that she managed out and all that she will make out. I'm not saying that the throaty laugh was bad, it sounds kind of sexy (I'm not being a pervert here) with her somehow deep voice for a girl and her completely new personality.

"Let's head over to the anime world!" She exclaimed, now completly off of the sofa. "Shop," I corrected her. "It's anine shop." She rolled her eyes as she, in turn, corrected me like I was the one who was wrong. "No, it's world. I always tell you that I bel-"

"-ieve that the anime world is seperated by an invisible portal to the real world. Yes I know." I nodded as I finished her sentence. "You can call Hana if you want." She shook her head. "She has something important to do. She says she's gonna visit someone today." I hummed in response. "What are we waiting for? Let's go!" She pulled my hand as I got dragged.

"Wait I have to take my wallet!!"

=w=

"So you do know where we're going, right?" She asked me, as I walked in front of her. I managed to change into an orange knee-length dress with white stripped pattern on it, while Ria came with her tracksuit, saying that she like to dress up like a someone named "Yato". Probably someone from her animes.

"Yes. I do." I replied the same line for the fifth time, as I finally found the place I was searching for. "Oh there it is." I pointed at the familiar black door as I turn around to look at Ria to see that she wasn't there. I looked back at the shop and saw her already opening the door and rushing in. Typical Ria.

I walked after her, opening the door and entering it. Big shelves of what seem like mangas lined the whole shop, filled with people. There was a second floor, which was probably the animes. How big is this shop? At that moment, I knew this was heaven for Ria. Perfect bliss. "Wahh~" She said, her eyes wide and shining like a pair of gems. She looked at me for permission and I gave her a 'go ahead' motion with my hand. She literally ran inside, shuffling into one of the nearest bookshelves. I shook my head, as I suit myself my half-heartedly looking through one of the shelves, trying to find something that I might like.

= Akane Ria's POV =

I literally ran over to the nearest shelf, admiring all those drool-worthy mangas. I grabbed the whole series of Black Bird, something that I have been dying to read since forever. Awesome shoujo and supernatural book, revolving around youkai and humans. Luckily, I get all of the volumes, which is going to cost a whole lot. Putting them in a shopping basket, I grabbed 14 volumes of the overly popular Bleach; I am a sucka for Ichigo.

Decided to go to the second floor, wanting to buy hundreds of animes. I didn't even hesitate to buy Noragami; I am completely addicted with Yato and Hitori. Buying the latest disc of Fairy Tail, and One Piece starting from Season 1, and a whole bunch of more animes varying in different categories. Except Yaoi or Yuri, that is. I do not like it.

When I finally say something I was dreadfully searching for, which was Gintama, I couldn't reach it. What the hell?

I went on my tiptoes, desperately trying to reach the anime. Until someone grabbed it, that is. "Are you reaching for this?" A deep, manly voice asked and I nodded, not hiding my happiness. "Thank you so mu- A-re, Midorin?" I looked at my saviour's face and noticed the familiar pearl white skin and long eyelashes and the green hair. "Do I know you?"

I tilted my head in confusion, and then finally realised
