Lost in the glade -Minho-

"They arent back yet?" newt says as we stayed under the thing for cover. Alby and Minho had gone into the maze today tracking Bens footsteps.

"they'll be back" I told newt looking at the open doors "what if they don't make it back?" Thomas says. I look back at him "they're gonna make it." Newt assured.

We stand around the maze once the rain stops "come on Minho, come on" I whisper. "let me go in there" I said standing up

"no, it's against the rules no way" Gally says. I exhale "they're gonna make it liyah."

"There!" Thomas yells out and we see Minho dragging alby "No, no something wrong" I said shaking my head.

Then the doors creak and my heart falls down into my stomach. "No" I whisper

"Minho! Come on the doors are closing!" Newt shouts out COME ON, MINHO, YOU CAN DO IT!" Chuck yelled as well, as did the rest of the Gladers, yet no one moved.

i took a step forward, ready to run through the closing doors and help Minho.

but a hand was placed on my shoulder, i turn around and look at Gally. "Don't be stupid Liyah."

my tears burned my chilled skin as they rolled down my cheeks. I looked back towards the Maze as Minho continued to struggle and the doors start to move

"MINHO, PLEASE, COME ON!" I yelled out again. "MINHO, PLEASE!" Minho dropped Alby on the ground. They were still far as Minho grabbed his legs and started pulling his body towards the doors.

"MINHO, YOU GOTTA LEAVE HIM!" Then Minho fell over in exhaustion and he didn't move "No.." I then took gally's hand off me and run in

"Xyliah no!"

I ran over to Minho as he was on the floor. "Minho! Get up!"

"xyliah get out of there!" "You have to leave them!"

I try and wake Minho up but he didn't budge. I look up at the doors as they were gonna close.

I didn't move. If Minho was gonna die, I'm going with him.

But then Thomas ran in and then stops and turns once the doors closed "Thomas" I spoke and he looks at me "are you insane, you just killed your self"

Minho woke up with a gasp and I look down at him "Minho!" He looks up a me "xyliah?" he sat up "Oh no, no, no no Xyliah you ran in here!?" He says and I nodded

"I couldn't leave you to die? Are you crazy?" I said "but now your gonna die Liyah, are you insane" I shake my head "I wouldn't leave you" I told him.  and then he looks at Thomas

"Are you gonna tell me the same thing shank?" He says to Thomas and Thomas rolled his eyes. I go over to alby "alby?" I whisper

"what happened to him?" "Greiver stung him" he says. We hears. Greiver roar "yeah we're dead" I said and Minho rolls his eyes "come on. We have to go"

"What? Minho, what about alby" I said "we cant carry him while running for our lives" he says "we have to hide him?" Thomas says

"where? in a wall?" I roll my eyes

"Minho don't be a Dick. Thomas help me get him up" Minho stops me

"I'll do it" Thomas and Minho get alby up "come on" they follow me as we walk. We made it not to far in "put him down" they take a break. "Okay" Minho breathed out

"This isn't going to work, we can't keep carring him. We gotta go." Minho says making Thomas look at them wide eyed, "Wait, what are you talking about? We gotta hide him." Thomas said. "look around greenie! There is nowhere to hide him" Minho says as he glanced at Thomas while slightly pacing around as they could hear the maze changing.

"I don't know. Are you telling me there's not a single place we could take him?" Thomas asked, making Minho groan in frustration before grabbing Thomas by the shirt, pushing him against the wall.

"Minho!" I yell "Listen to me Greenie, all right. Take a look around. There's nowhere to go!" Minho said. I pull Minho off Thomas "You don't get it. We're already dead!"Minho said. I exhale and then look at the ivy walls.

later, Alby had a vine of ivy tied around him as we pulled him up the wall with a vine. I hear a maze wall shift near us and me and Minho look around the corner

"shit" I cuss. "We gotta go! We gotta go now!" I hurried and tied the knot so alby would stay

"Minho, stay with me. Stay with me, Minho. We can save Alby, just wait!" I rush out.

The greiver screams. Once I got it and Thomas was holding it "Minho go, I'm right behind you!"  I told him and he ran causing Thomas to slip a little. He waited at the end and I look at him knowing It was the end.

I nodded and he hesitated "go!" He then ran and Thomas got it.

The greiver got closer and Thomas pulls me to the floor. He rolls under the ivy pulling me with him.

My back was pressed against his chest. The griever leg stops in front of us causing me to whimper. Thomas puts his hand over my mouth "shh" he whispered.

The greiver then passed us and I got out and help Thomas out. "It-it went after Minho" I said and pulled my knife from out my boot and go to walk in that direction.

Thomas grabs my arm "Xyliah, you can't" he tells me. "Minhos gonna die!" "I get you care about him. But your not stupid"  he says.

"We will find him" I nodded "do you trust me?" He asks "I don't think I have a choice greenie" I exhale "now come on"

We start walking as it was dark. "Thomas" I whisper and he froze. We both look at each other "did you hear that?" We make eye contact as alike drops in between us. We both slowly look up at the greiver.

It looked at us and screamed. "GO!" I grab his arm pulling him as we ran. We ran and ran. "Go! Go! Go!"

We look at the wall and he puts his hands together "come on Liyah let's go!" He yelled and I put my foot in his hands as he boosted me ontop of the wall. I grab Thomas hand helping him up as the greiver was behind us.

and we met with a dead end. "Thomas! Follow my lead!" I told him "your crazy!" He says and then I jump into the ivy and the greiver was behind him. He does after as well as the greiver slip behind  both of us. I climb to the top of the wall and so did thomas. We both ran for our lives as the greiver chased us.

I ran running till We run untill the greiver came around the corner. I was pushed to the ground hitting my head. "Liyah!" Thomas screamed and i lunge my knife into the griever and it screams.

Before it could sting me Thomas rushed to me pulling me. He picks me up and ran with me over him as I passed out.

Thomas ran into someone and sees Minho who had his hand on my arm

"Thomas!? liyah!" Thomas put the girl down "what the hell happened to her!?" "Greiver" I open my eyes with a groan

"liyah, hey, you have to get up" Minho says and I do so "come on" Minho puts my arm over his shoulder as we start to go but Thomas did follow as we hear the griever

"Thomas come on!" Minho yells  "Thomas!?" He waits till the griever comes around the corner. "Thomas! Let's go!" I yelled as he ran towards us "THOMAS!"
