we all started discussing how things would work and cabir and I convinced them finally. I understand their hesitation but I also know that they have worked so hard and this opportunity gives them to live alone too.

Ever since cabir and I, our parents have never took a vacation alone or left for longer than a couple days so I won't let them be apart

"Nandini" mumma whispers caressing her cheeks making me realize she was starting to fall a sleep again

she hums opening her eyes really quickly

"Bacha I want you to stay in this house with cabir and manik, will you do that for me?"

"But how can I?"

"I am asking you too, please"

"Chacha chachi will not like it, they will say no"

"No they won't, I already talked to them and they aren't going to be back for a few months anyways so you are staying here"

"Can I smack these two?" She asks

"Of course, you beat them up" she whispers but I frown hearing it

I swear these two are so weird.

"You tell them not to hit me back especially this giraffe, his hands move more than they should" nandini whispers back

I lean down slightly so my lips hover right above her head

"Ahhh see ma I told you he is mean, he will hit me back, you make him promise right now" she complains getting up

I couldn't help but notice how she calls mumma, ma, she does it sometimes and I don't know if she realizes it but maybe that's what gave mum the idea of her little 'wish' which I think is stupid

"He will not, I made some brownies, go grab some"

Hearing brownies nandini doesn't think twice before jumping up and running to the kitchen

"Manik, cabir, take care of her, I know you two are good at taking care of each other but I don't want you to exclude her, take care of her like I do" mumma says kissing our cheeks

"We will" cabir answers for the both of us

"Manu come help me with suitcases" dad says and I know he wanted to talk

You know when you can tell if your parents want to talk privately or if they are are actually asking for help, yeah I can tell

I got up and follow dad to his and mum's room

"This is a very hard decision and your mother won't say this but I am telling you this, it is breaking her heart to have to leave the three of you here alone" he says patting my shoulder

"Papa I know, not just her but you too. I understand how difficult this is for you two, but cabir nadini and I don't want you and ma to be apart. All of us are old enough to take care of us and each other. I want you and ma to enjoy but please no more babies"

He laughs making me laugh too

"Nandini, take care of her, you know your ma and Nandini's connection"

"Yup already noted"

"Not a single scratch on her manik, I mean on all three of you but especially her"

"I promise neither cabir nor nandini will be hurt"

"You too big guy, we don't want you hurt either"
