Everleigh
This bastard is smug as he stands by my car, as though he thinks he won. This thing is more than between us and it's not a fúcking game. I don't give a shít if he became the most successful man ever in the world. The suit, the money, and the power don't mean anything to me if he was still the Caelan I knew five years ago.
He wouldn't be up to no good and certainly don't want that around my daughter. I didn't hide her for five years just for that effort to become nothing.
I shoved the remote of the electric gate in my pocket before I pulled my Champagne Pink nine milimeter glock from my pink Birkin and stepped out of the vehicle. His eyes widened a little when he saw the weapon in my hand, but he did not move a muscle. He just looked surprised and as though he finds me sexy holding something that I can kill him with.
"Get out of my way, Viglianco." Malamig kong sabi,
His security team immediately sensed my danger. However, he gestured to his goons to not move a muscle to protect him. Instead he commanded them to all turn away and do something else other than eavesdrop and watch.
Caelan wasn't panicking at all. Instead, he slid his hands inside his pocket and calmly stood there for a moment. He was still standing in front of my house, and the pointy metal design of the gate of my house looked like a crown of thorns on his blond head.
I pressed the small remote in my hand and let the gates open. I started walking inside the parameters of my estate, while he followed. I could feel his hot gaze trailing all over my back, and searing on my åss. I stopped in front of the huge, wooden customed front door. Even though we're in my front door, we're now hidden from the prying eyes of the public because of the gates and the intentional green bushes around my property.
His gray-blue eyes never left me. The orange tint of the setting sun glinted on his naturally tanned skin.
"This is the last time I'm gonna warn you." I coldly said as I craned my neck to look up on his handsome face. "Get out of here and never come back."
"Y-You don't mean that." He said softly. My grip around the gun shaky as the cool metal mouth pressed on his chest.
Nahigit ko ang hininga ko dahil siya mismo ang lumapit doon. He doesn't seem alarmed at all, his eyes were just teary and intensely focused on me.
My heart felt like it was going to burst out of my chest any minute as I felt his natural warmth radiate on me. His scent invades my nose and I am fighting every fiber of my being to bury my nose in his neck and inhale him.
"I'm serious, Caelan." Tears are threatening to fall from my own eyes but I held them back. My throat felt like there's a ball in it.
His jaw clenched.
"We have a daughter together, Everleigh. I have more reason to not ever walk away. I wanted to see her, please." A tear rolled down his smooth cheek. He tried to reach for my face pero mabilis ko iyon na iwinaksi.
I didn't want him to touch me, because everytime he does, I seem to forget every bad thing he has ever done.
"H-How d-did I not k-know about her? W-Why did you hide her from me?" His voice cracked in pain.
Pagak akong natawa.
"You think I wanted my kid to grow up without a dad, huh?" Nanunuya kong tanong. "You think once upon a time it was my dream to be a single mom, hm Caelan? If it still weren't clear for you, I hid her because you hurt me and you u-used me!" I yelled at him. The letters and the text message that I saw felt like salt in a fresh cut wound, the way he treated me when we were together felt like there's someone who squeezed a lemon on my severely wounded heart. Making ache and bleed more. Just when I thought it was already healed.
