Chapter 43: Lamok

Everleigh

I was sitting at my desk as I had a little break in between. Cade went to the school cafeteria to get something to eat, so I was on my own here in the huge lecture hall. It's so big that if I ever scream, it would revert to me. As I sat there, there were two of his security team standing by the wooden door like robots. They were so sleek and silent that for a moment, I would think I'm alone.

My eyes settled on a familiar black suit and tall frame. Niko's standing there with his eyes straight and his hands in front of him. I have never seen him flinch, ever.  His hair black and neat, his posture straight, there was not a lick of wrinkle on every clothing he had, his black shoes were always clean and shiny, which tells me that he might have a military background. Which means my sweet tactic might not work but I still have to try.

And so I gestured for him to come to me and he did in a calculated strides.

"Yes, ma'am?" Tanong niya. A clear-like earpiece sticking out his ear as he looked at me with brown eyes void of any emotions.

"Please call me Everleigh." I told him softly.

"Okay, ma'am Everleigh." His tone is respectful and stern.

I scooted forward to my desk and interlaced my fingers before I rested them on the wooden table. I titled my head and said, "I know you're like super loyal to delulu."

Nagsalubong ang kanyang itim na makakapal na mga kilay sandali.

"I'm sorry, ma'am. Delulu?" Takang tanong niya. "I am only loyal to my employer, Mr. Caelan Viglianco."

Right.

"Well, quick slang lesson. Delulu is what the gen z calls a person who is delusional like your employer. You know, he thinks I'm his wife at grabeng mag-angkin."

"Oh." Was all he could say.

"But what would it take for you to not tell anything to delulu about what Cade said earlier hm?" Malambing kong tanong. "Is there anything I can get you to keep what Cade said between us? Kasi lagot ako mamaya kapag nalaman niya and he's not laying a hand on me. It's a different type of 'lagot'." I said frankly.

Well, it's not like I'm scared of him.

I'm scared of myself because I know the little whóre in me loves the idea of fúcking angry and jealous Caelan.

And she is getting out of control as each day passes.

She loves the passion, the force, the hunger, and the roughness when he's mad and that is definitely not good for me, my heart, and definitely not my pússy.

I will need to ice that bîtch for at least a week and I would probably roll in here in a wheelchair.

Niko then shifts like he's uncomfortable.

"U-Uh." Napalunok siya.

"Just this one?"

"M-Ma'am, kahit po gustuhin ko, nasabi ko na po kay bossman."

Well, fúck me.

I forced a smile. That's weird, my phone is silent.  Usually, he would be blowing up my notifications right now, but then again, he didn't get mad when I told him that I have a guy T.A, because he considers him as my help rather than his competition, but now that he found out that Cade wanted to be more than just my T.A, I don't know what I am gonna come home to.

"Hmm, ang cute-cute mo talaga, Niko!" I beamed sarcastically.

"I-I,"

"Lumayo ka na sa akin ngayon na, kasi kung hindi pag-uuntugin ko talaga kayong dalawa ng amo mo mamaya." Dagdag ko pa kaya mabilis siyang naglakad pabalik sa pintuan.
