Chapter 56: Video Games

Matapos ang dinner ay kinailangan na naming ihatid si Auntie sa private tarmac dahil kailangan na niyang bumalik sa Canada. Her empire is waiting for her and she has more matters to attend to. My Auntie loves the rigor of her career. She is the type of woman who doesn't get an ounce of relaxation when she is idle. Her type of relaxation is looking at the stock market, babysitting my kid, and acquiring another company.

She is that type of a boss-lady and I didn't wanna keep her away from doing what she loves the most.

"I'll call when I land." She said and gave me a tight hug. Her white private air vehicle and her flight crew were standing and waiting patiently just a few feet away from us.

"Okay. Take care, Auntie."

We pulled away and she gave Caelan a 'I-am-watching-you' gesture. They both laughed and my auntie gave him a hug as well.

"Oh shít, you are a tall, tall man." Iiling-iling na sabi ni auntie dahil kinailangan niyang tumingkayad para yakapin sandali si Caelan.

We chuckled before Auntie turned around and started walking towards the aircraft.

Caelan then put his arm around me while we waited until Auntie got into her private jet. We then started walking back to the car when the cabin door shut.

When we were approaching his Escalade, his phone rang in his pocket.

"Work." He said and showed me the screen of his phone and I saw that it was his assistant.

I nodded, he stepped a couple of steps away but I still could hear him. Niko, who was standing by the Escalade, was giving me a look. What makes me a good professor is that I knew how to read people, especially when it comes to students. For instance, I know when they want to ask for an extension for a project, or when they're gonna tell me that they need an extra credit, or if they just want to talk just because.

I'm uncertain about what it was but I feel like he wanted to tell me something so I stepped closer and touched his elbow lightly.

"Everything okay?" I asked softly.

His adam's apple bobbed before he nodded.

"Y-Yes ma'am."

"Okay. Just know that I'm here, whatever it is." I smiled reassuringly.

He nodded.

"Thank you ma'am."

"Didn't I tell you to call me, Everleigh?"

"Yes ma'am, but I have too much respect for you."

I chuckled softly and nodded.

Caelan's phone call ended and we got into the car. I didn't put too much thought into my interaction with Niko because it was clear that he didn't wanna tell me what's going on. I'm just gonna let him come around until he is ready to tell me whatever it is. ChiChi was already tired from school and playing with all the stuff she had gotten from her Auntie Lola, so she fell asleep early. We called our trusted babysitter before we dropped off Auntie to watch her while we're gone briefly.

Habang nagda-drive naman si Caelan ay hindi maalis ang kanyang mga mata sa dibdib ko. Through the days that I have been off from UCLA, I tan everyday and of course, he wouldn't ever let me go out naked. So I wear a bikini whenever I go under the sun, because of that, I have tanlines on my shoulders and even around my boobs. The black halter top that I am wearing reveals all of those for his eyes.

And he loves it.

He run his lips and tongue on it everytime we get alone time.

"Honey, eyes on the road please." Natatawa kong sabi sa kanya.
