After we noticed that the waves countdown stopped we immediately went to the queen and told her about it.
Once we saw her and told her what happened, she told us that the tortoise must've woken up and that we must hurry to meet up with other kingdoms.
After traveling for a few days we heard rumors about how Ren, Motoyasu, and Itsuki were defeated and asked fitoria about it where she responded that none of them were killed.
Even though Rishia was relieved about that news, I started to get a bad feeling which had something to do with my monsters.
Ryuji: Filo, can you ask Fitoria if any of my monsters are okay?
Filo: Filo will ask
Filo held the sides of her head with her finger while her cowlick spun around like an antenna.
Filo: Fitoria says that she hasn't heard anything about it... She also says that she'll look into what happened to your monsters
Ryuji: thank you
As we continued our journey, we eventually reached the palace of a kingdom closest to the Spirit Tortoise and began the meeting in a secluded room.
As we settled down in our seats, one of the rulers glanced at me and Naofumi with a look of suspicion.
King 1: before we begin, can I take it that man is the shield hero and the other one is the rumored monster hero?
Mirellia: yes, they are indeed the Shield and Monster heroes
King 3: if that's true, then where are the other three Cardinal heroes, shouldn't they be here helping us?
After that, this nation's king brought it up, the other rulers looked at the queen in suspicion.
Mirellia: if you are wondering about the whereabouts of the other heroes I can assure you they are indeed helping. They've realized that the Spirit Tortoise will awaken soon and went ahead to subjugate it
After the queen's explanation, this nation's King eased up his glare.
King 2: speaking of the monster hero, why aren't the seven star heroes here?
King 3: yes, I would also like to know
King 4: I've received word that they've left their countries and are on the way. Unfortunately some of them are too far off while the nearest ones wouldn't make it in time
Ryuji: what are the seven start heroes again? I feel like I've heard of them before
Naofumi: same here
Mirellia: they are vassal heroes just like you sir Hashibira. And just like you their weapons are different from the four Cardinal weapons such as sir Iwatani's shield. While some of them can be summoned just tile you, others can simply be born into this world
Naofumi: so how strong are they?
Mirellia: as of now, they are far weaker than you and the other Cardinal heroes. Sir Hashibira actually the most powerful one yet with his ability to summon monsters
King 4: may I ask something
Ryuji: uh... sure, go ahead
King 4: is it true that you can summon monsters? May I ask that you demonstrate you ability
After that question which sounded more like a request, the other rulers got curious and looked at me.
