THE JOURNEY TO the station seemed to take forever, the world around her moved so slowly and Barley hated it so much, she just wanted to go home. The anticipation was building quickly inside her and she hadn't even left the Capitol yet.

The car soon came to a stop outside of the Capitol station the same one she had been brought to just a week ago, the station wasn't bustling, a few Peacekeepers were mulling about but other than that nothing much was going on.

Barley exited the car Apollo alongside her, the two walked side by side as he escorted her to the platform she would be picked up from, the platform itself was empty except for the two.

"Is it a real train this time or am I being dumped back into a cattle cart?"Barley asked an amused smile on her face.

"Oh trust me, it's a real train this time,"Apollo tells her a small smile eching onto his lips.

The two full into a peaceful silence as the train comes chugging into the station, it comes to a stop in front of Barley and Apollo, Barley picks up her bag of clothes and begins to walk towards the train door when Apollo grabs hold of her arm. "Wait, this is from the Dean, it's a gift for your troubles,"Apollo tells her.

He hands her a pouch that jingles as he places it into her hands, indicating to Barley that there is some money inside, a look of disbelief falls over her face. Were they seriously trying to give her money to make her feel better about losing Adam, Coral, and all the others?

A snarky smile made its way onto her face. "I'll cry into them when I cry over my brother being dead"She tells Apollo sarcastically she knows deep down she shouldn't be mad at him, he's just another pawn in these games.

Apollo looks at her sympathetically. "Nothing will make up for the pain you've experienced I just hope someday you'll be able to find peace,"Apollo tells her.

Barley sighs, before turning back to. "I'm sorry I shouldn't be taking things out on you like that, it's not your fault, and I hope someday I can find peace too".

The training whistle goes off indicating the train is going to leave, Barley quickly stuffed the coins into her pocket before climbing on board the train, she gives Apollo one last wave as the door shut separating the Mentor and his Tribute forever.

Barley walks down the aisle, rows and rows of seats lining them, she looks around in awe at the pristine interior of the train, it still shocks Barley how she can still be in such awe of the things the Capitol has but then she remembers how little she has back home.

Barley walks over to one of the rows sitting down in a seat next to the window, she places her bag next to her and places her head onto the window, the train soon begins to move the Capitol slowly fading out of sight, Barley knows she won't miss that place in the slightest given all the pain she experienced but she also can't say it was all bad.
