Mirabelle's POV

This morning as I was making breakfast, I couldn't stop smiling as I remembered last night. Everything felt so amazing and I wished I could stay in yesterday or have a replay of it over and over again.

His hands roaming over me, his face in my neck, his kisses and the sweet nothings he kept on whispering in my ear, as well as the nonstop fondling. I just loved the fact that he couldn't keep his hands off me. It made me feel different, like I had been invaded in a good way of course, I was just happy that everything turned out great.

I couldn't wait to tell Marylove!

I was in the middle of warming up some croissants when I got a notification. She had tagged me in an Instagram post and I opened to check it out. It was a short clip of Eugene and Prince's brawl last night and it had really gone viral with loads and loads of comments.

The comments obviously had two sides taken and damn, people were very brutal. I was still going through the comment section when I heard a ring on our door and of course it was Lynelle. Ugh, how long were things going to be like this?

"Good morning." I feigned sweetness.

"Where's Eugene?"

"I'm also doing good, thanks for asking."

"Stop being weird, we're not friends." She rolled her eyes as her gazed raked over me, making me realise that I was in Eugene's shirt.

"Hm...alright, what's the matter though? You like my outfit? Its Eugene's actually...he's still asleep." She gazed at me with so much hatred which did nothing to erase the smug look on my face.

"So what? You think he's going to marry you? Or you'll continue to be his girlfriend?" she air quoted. "Or even worse, his fuck buddy."

"You may never know though...you have no idea what goes on between us...." I shrugged but deep down what she said did trigger me a bit. Was Eugene ever going to marry me?

"Keep telling that to yourself as if you guys have something special."

"How does any of this even concern you?" I folded my arms.

"Oh Hun, it doesn't and your delusional ass doesn't even know what's coming." She smirked. I turned to see Eugene approaching and my heart started racing when I remembered what happened yesterday, momentarily forgetting Lynelle.

"Hey ladies." He looked between us.

"Hey Eugene, I came to check up on you."

"As you can see, he's fine."

"I didn't ask you." She snapped at me

"Sure, but whatever you wanted to know, you could call him to ask."

"Would you shut up?"

"Would you get the hell out of here?"

"This isn't your property."

"You better-"

"Damnit! That's enough!" Eugene stood between us before we could attack each other

"Eugene, I don't think she's aware that you and her could never happen because you don't like her as more than a friend because she's not taking a hint." I folded my arms. Eugene gazed at me, with his mouth slightly agape.

"Sis, don't waste your time, okay? Eugene can only be your friend, nothing else... accept it and stop embarrassing yourself all the time...come on." I sighed.

"Lynelle," Eugene began.

"No... like really? I hope you can see for yourself now...she's completely taken full control of you...I told you it was a bad idea...I told you that one day you'd completely ditch me...never knew that one day was so soon. Some friend you are..." she spoke in a heavy voice and left. It was not easy AT ALL to conceal my smirk but I tried...TRIED.
