Mimi's POV
"These children have forgotten about us." I sighed.
"No, I don't think so. I guess they've been busy that's all." Emelda assumed.
"That busy?"
"They're probably going on dates and doing other romance stuff. Mind you."
"I just hope they do know that they should have their limits."
"Yeah, but they'll get married anyway. I thought you trusted your son."
"That, I do...but at the end of the day. He's still a guy and they're supposed to get married too before anything like you know, sex." I sighed and she laughed.
"Oh, but I don't think he'll leave her around anyhow."
"That's for sure, my son is a gentleman but I just wish they would call me or something, my birthday is coming up."
"I see what's going on here, this is about your birthday!"
"So even you forgot!" I accused gaping at her.
"Oh no, not at all!"
"Turning 54 isn't a minor thing."
"You're absolutely righ.t" she smiled and we laughed.

Lynelle's POV
"Hello?" I frowned.
"It's Prince."
"Oh hey..." I trailed off dropping my keys on the bed. After that incident, I had never gotten a chance to eve speak to him again
"Okay before you say anything-"
"Shut the fuck up. And yes, I'm fucking pissed alright...I'm all over the media like fucking loser all because of you and your stupid advice."
"Okay chill, first of all, it's not my fault that you weren't careful enough and second why would you even fake a pregnancy on her? That wasn't such a bright idea."
"I get your point, now shut up."
"Sure, what do you want?"
"Here's an ultimanium, either you help me dissolve the two, since you're closer. Or you don't and I just see my revenge for all the embarrassment that douche caused me."
"You don't get to call my best friend a douche. And what makes you think you can get your revenge with ese?"
"You don't know much about me... do you?" he chuckled.
"Either way, I don't care...Eugene and I are on good terms right now and I don't want any lame ass backfiring plan to ruin if. So kindly never call me again. Understand? Bye." I hung up and blocked his number within a heartbeat

Mirabelle's POV
"Will you marry me?" he knelt down, opening the ring box.
"Oh my God...What? Yes! Yes!" People clapped and cheered and a smile broke on my face as I looked that direction.
I really wished that was me and Eugene within that moment. Unfortunately, we were just on a date, witnessing their display. I was a bit not doing so good within myself. Ever since Lynelle spoke about those proposal and stuff, my mind had just been allowing me to overthink...because Eugene and I had dated for quite a long while and it didn't seem he wanted to upgrade or anything.
I also didn't want it to seem like I was forcing him or giving him pressure but I did manage to drop a few hints.
"Are you okay?" he asked when we went outside to the parking lot. His car was parked a bit far from where we were so we had to walk side by side.
