Quick base knowledge for the werewolf info in my specific world:
• This book takes place in England, where there are 8 official packs, plus rogues who don't belong to any specific pack
• I have named each pack after one of the Planet Neptune's moons, which are (in pack size order, biggest to smallest)
Triton
Galatea
Thalassa
Despina
Naiad
Halimede
Sao
Neso
• The "government" is the Neptune Council, which consists of the alpha of each pack, making the Triton Alpha the leader, as the largest pack
(There are other non-alpha members as well)
• Each pack member finds out their rank at 12 y/o, alpha, beta, gamma, omega and they connect with their wolves at 16 y/o, who have their own names and personalities within their person
• You will be able to find your mate at 18, but you must both be 18 or over for it to work, so if your mate is younger than you, you won't see them as your mate until you are both 18 & over
