The group erupts in a chorus of excited cheers, and I find myself eagerly anticipating the prospect of the game. I settle onto the plush sofa, Agastya taking a seat beside me. Kia on the right of him and Annika in the middle of Adik and Kia.

Annika takes charge, her eyes gleaming with mischief. "Okay, so I hope everyone knows the rules. But a person who is A-DICK might have no clue about the game." she says referring his brother as dick and getting a glare from him.

" So basically, Players take turns listing potential experiences they've never had. If someone has done the action in question, they take a shot."

"Alright I'll start!" I say excitedly. "Never have I ever faked sick my work."
Annika, Kia and Agastya take a shot. I gawked at Adik "I don't believe it. How come you have never done that?"

He shrugs, "I enjoy my work, it is fun there."

"Yeah sitting in your office chair in front of a computer and ordering around your poor assistant his fun." Annika snorts and says.

"Oh no poor Aadhya, I pity that girl so much. Have some shame." Kia adds,

"Really I thought you hated her? and about having some shame, well dimples I am shameless." Adik says with a lopsided grin.

Kia fumes with anger but before she could say anything, Agastya says "Okay, Okay, my turn,"

Hahaha looks like he understood that Kia and Adik don't go well together, yup they don't. I can bet my whole fortune that if you leave both alone in a room, they'll end up killing each other, and know I am not lying, they hate HATE each other.

"Never have I ever sent a dirty text to wrong person" Agastya says with a grin on his face.

"Why do I doubt that? Your grin shows all the truth that you have," I say, and he throws his head back to laugh "Yeah I did once,"

Annika and I take a shot. "Wow give me the details brother, come on" she says.

"Uhm... It was in my school days I wanted to text my crush but ended up sending it to my English teacher." he says embarrassed.

"Oh my god" Kia laughs like a dying whale, "bro seriously, what happened next?"

"Well, the rest is history." Agastya says shyly,

Annika gasps "Don't tell me you guys fucked each other," to that Agastya seals his lips and we all bursted out laughing.

As the game continues, I'm drawn into the playful banter, eliciting cheers and applause from my friends.

When the laughter finally dies down, I turn to Agastya. "Okay let's make this night a little soothing and calm."

Agastya contemplates for a moment, then a mischievous smile spreads across his face. "What do you mean?"

My heart quickens, and I bite my lip, my mind racing to come up with the perfect challenge. "Sing a love song of your choice."

Agastya's gaze locks with mine, and I feel a spark of electricity pass between us. He clears his throat and stands, his eyes never leaving mine. "Alright, here goes."

"𝑰𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒆𝒚𝒆𝒔, 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒔 𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒏,
𝑮𝒖𝒊𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆'𝒔 𝒅𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒆.
𝑾𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒓, 𝒎𝒚 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒊𝒈𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒔,
𝑰𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒆, 𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒔.

𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒍𝒂𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒆𝒓, 𝒂 𝒔𝒚𝒎𝒑𝒉𝒐𝒏𝒚 𝒔𝒐 𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒕,
𝑰𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆, 𝑰 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒚 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒕.
𝑻𝒐𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓, 𝒘𝒆 𝒅𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒎𝒐𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕'𝒔 𝒈𝒍𝒐𝒘,
𝑰𝒏 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒂𝒓𝒎𝒔, 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓, 𝑰'𝒍𝒍 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒍𝒆𝒕 𝒈𝒐."

Agastya begins to sing, his rich baritone filling the room. The lyrics are soft and tender, and I can't help but feel that they're meant for me.

As the song comes to an end, the room erupts in applause.

Annika's voice cuts through the moment, a mischievous grin on her face. "Well, well, well, looks like someone has a crush!"

As the night wears on, the rain begins to pelt against the windows and believe me when I am saying this the view is so stunning and peaceful to look at, the sound creating a cozy, intimate atmosphere. Annika glances out at the storm, then turns to the group. "Looks like the weather's taking a turn for the worse. How about you guys stay here tonight, it's not really safe to drive in the rain."

Her father had an accident in the rain and couldn't make it. It makes my heart squeeze at the thought of it, though she never had any close relationship with her father, she still loved him and misses him. She still is scared of the rain and hence don't want any of us to leave.

Kia and I reach out to hug her and drop a kiss on her cheeks. She smiles and turns to hug her brother who immediately reacted and dropped a kiss on her forehead.

Kia shakes her head, and sighs. "God, I hate emotional moods, come one guys, cheer up, let's have some more drinks and call it a night! YOHOO!"

After a few more rounds of games and shots, Kia dozes off on the couch and Annika in blabbering nonsense shit to me and Agastya. Adik is busy on a phone call, perks of being a businessman. After some time, Adik comes and swoops Kia in his arms and takes her to the guest room and I take Annika to her bedroom.

"AARRGGHH THAT DICK SUCKING PUSSY EATING ELEPHANT SHIT IDIOTA, I'LL KILL HIM, I SWEAR, HOW DARE HE INVADE MY PRIVACY, I SWEAR TO GOD I WILL MURDER THAT PIECE OF SHIT!" Annika blabbers shout in her drunken state.

I have no idea who she is talking about, maybe someone from her dark romance books. This girl has some weird kind of obsession with those books.

I return back to living room and Adik returns at the same time. "You both won't mind sharing a room? Because the other guests' rooms are still getting renovated." Adik asks. I glance at Agastya, and he raises a brow at me, "I won't mind bhai." I say to Adik bhai. "Cool, it is settled then, good night, guys" he nodded. Agastya nodded back at him.

"Good night bhai." I say,

"Stop calling me 'bhai' Roohi, my own sister never calls me that and more over it makes me sound old." Adik says as he climbs the stairs.

I chuckle and move to the guest room with Agastya. The room is big enough with a bed and couch, thankfully. I turn to Agastya, a shy smile on my lips. "Looks like we're in for a cozy night."

Agastya returns my smile, his eyes sparkling with warmth. "I wouldn't have it any other way."

The two of us settle in for the evening, the sound of the rain creating a soothing backdrop to our conversation.
