Chapter 9 around every corner part 2

Everyone runs inside St. Felicity's Catholic Elementary School and Lee closes the doors behind them. They run up the stairs and burst through a door into a hallway of lockers; Vernon and Brie close the doors.
Kenny: Fuck.
Kenny: Fuck!
Mark: Do you think they saw us?
Lee: I don't think so.
Lee: I think we're good, for now, at least.
Shawn: Are we?
Christa: What the hell happened here?
Doug: I thought this place was supposed to be secure!
Molly: What always happens, I guess. Molly: In the end, the dead always win.
Ben: Oh, man, we are so screwed.
Vernon: No, this is good.
Lee: Vernon's right.
Lee: We can deal with walkers easier than armed guards.
Kenny: I agree.
Kenny: So long as we don't let 'em box us in, we can still do this.
Kenny: The plan hasn't changed.
Ben: The plan hasn't changed?
Ben: Every time walkers show up, the plan changes!
Ben: Do you even have any idea how many of them are out there?
Christa: No.
Christa: You wanna do a headcount, or do you wanna get what we need and get the hell out of here?
Brie: Come on, I think I know which way to head.
Ben: I got a bad feeling about this.
The group walks down the hallway. Behind a boarded up door marked with an X, several zombies growl.
Molly: Just keep moving.
They reach a door at the end of the hallway.
Brie: Here.
Lee cautiously opens the door.
Lee: Looks okay.
Lee: Everybody in.
The group enters the abandoned classroom. Lee tries to open a door marked "Armory".
Lee: Figures.
Kenny: Looks like they were using this room as some kind of command center.
Otis: No kidding.
Molly: Okay, so now what?
Molly: Where do we start looking?
Brie: Here.
Bire looks at hand-drawn map hanging on the wall.
Brie: Just give me a sec.
Lee: Where can we find some fuel for the boat?
Brie points on the map.
Brie: There's a maintenance shed across from the playground here, if they were storing fuel that's probably where it'll be.
Lee: The battery's here.
Lee points on the map.
Lee: This auto shop, it's right next door?
Brie: Yup, it's called herman's, you can't miss it.
Lee: Where would be the best place to look for medicine?
Shawn points on the map.
Shawn: Right here.
Shawn: Nurse's station.
Christa: How do you it has medicine?
Shawn: Just makes sense, doesn't it?
Kenny: Okay, I'll make the run to the maintenance shed for the fuel.
Brie: It'll be faster if I go with you, I can take you right to it.
Ben: I'll come too.
Kenny: No, two people's enough.
Kenny: You stay here, see if you can use any of those tools we brought to get that armory door open.
Kenny: We might need to shoot our way out of here.
Christa: I'll go for the medicine.
Vernon: I'll come with you, I know what to take.
Lee: Okay, I guess that leaves me to go find us a battery.
Molly: I'll go with you, watch your back.
Lee gives hatchet to Kenny.
Lee: Okay, we've got a plan.
Lee: Everyone be careful, stay close to one another, we'll all meet back here. Lee: Good luck.
The group splits up. Lee,Ben,Clem,Otis,Shawn,Mark,and Doug are left in the room.
Clementine: What about me, what can I do?
Lee: I need you to stay here with ben,shawn,mark,and doug and watch over our command center.
Lee: I'm putting otis in charge of it. Lee: Okay?
Clem looks over at Ben trying to open the armory door.
Clem: You're leaving us with ben?
Lee: I'm not leaving you guys with ben.
Lee: I'm leaving him with you guys. Lee: Understand?
Clem: Oh.
Clem: Okay.
Lee: Back before you know it.
Lee walks up to Ben.
Lee: Hey, you need any help with that?
Ben: Thanks, I got it.
Ben: Just once, I'd like to do something useful, you know?
Lee: You're plenty useful.
Ben: Ha!
Ben: Yeah, right.
Ben: Seems like all I ever do is get us into trouble.
Lee: Well, I'll let you get on with it.
Lee turns to leave.
Ben: No, wait.
Ben: There is something you can help me with.
Ben: Something that's been on my mind, I could use your opinion.
Lee: What is it?
Ben: It's kenny.
Ben: Since I've been helping him work on the boat, I've gotten to know him a little better.
Ben: He's a good guy, you know? And it's eating me up, knowing what I know.
Ben: I've been thinking about telling him the truth.
Lee: Ben, c'mon.
Lee: This again?
Ben: It's my fault duck and katjaa got killed.
Ben: If I hadn't screwed up back at the motor inn, they'd still be alive.
Ben: How am I supposed to just carry something like that around?
Ben: I have to tell him.
Lee: I agree, I think you should tell him.
Lee: Just not now.
Ben: You don't get it, lee.
Ben: What am I supposed to do whenever he talks about katjaa and duck?
Ben: Just nod and pretend like it wasn't my fault?
Ben: I can't do it anymore.
Lee: Ben, listen.
Lee: Kenny seems like he's got his shit back together because right now he's got a purpose, but he is still in a real bad place.
Lee: You tell him now, he's going to lose it.
Lee: And then we're all screwed.
Lee: There'll come a time when he's ready to hear it.
Lee: But it's not now, not yet.
Ben: I hear you.
Lee walks away from Ben and walks up to Mark.
Lee: Hey, mark.
Mark: Yeah, lee?
Lee: Thanks for watching clem.
Mark: She is quite the handful.
Lee: Really?
Mark: I was helping christa and told ben to watch clem.
Mark: Then omid was shaking hard.
Mark: I called ben to help.
Mark: I ran down the stairs to tell clem.
Mark: But when I found her, she was trying to leave.
Mark: I told her to stay or she has to get yelled at.
Mark: Then omid was stable and clem stayed.
Lee: Wow.
Lee walks away from Mark and walks up to Shawn.
Lee: Hey.
Shawn: I'm not feeling it, lee.
Lee: What happened?
Shawn: I know I never thought about it, but I should've done more to save carley.
Lee: Why are you thinking about it now?
Shawn: Because it just came in my brain.
Shawn: What if carley wasn't bit?
Lee: I'll leave you to it.
Lee walks away from Shawn and walks up to Doug.
Lee: Hey.
Doug: Hello.
Lee: How are you feeling?
Doug: Guilty.
Lee: Why?
Doug: Because I know the boat isn't big enough for everyone.
Lee: How?
Doug: I did the measurements and the weight of all of us.
Doug: Not all of us will fit.
Lee: Yeah, we have to tell everyone, but not yet.
Doug: Okay.
Lee walks away from Doug and walks up to Otis.
Lee: Hey.
Otis: Hi.
Lee: How's it going?
Otis: I mean, we finally got a boat.
Otis: Which is good for us.
Lee: Okay, but how are you feeling?
Otis: Let's talk about it once we're out of here.
Lee: But.
Otis: Now's not the time.
Lee: Okay.
Lee walk away from Otis and exits the classroom.
Lee walks down the hallway and sees Molly.
Molly: You coming?
Molly walks to the fire escape.
Lee walks to the fire escape, but he doesn't see Molly.
Lee: Where's molly?
Lee walked down the metal steps and walked to the nearby shed.
Lee looks up and sees an open roof and climbs up the selves.
Lee is on the shed's roof, and jumps over the metal fence, and sticks the landing.
Lee crouches down and tries to open the autoshop's garage door, but it's stuck.
Lee: Shit it's stuck.
Out of nowhere, a walker comes falling off the roof, and Molly jumps down also.
Lee: Molly?
Molly starts kicking the walker.
Lee: Molly?!
Molly stops kicking the walker.
Lee: I think you got him.
Molly: You never know for sure when these fuckers are dead.
Molly: You open the autoshop yet?
Lee: I tried, but it's stuck.
Molly takes out a car jack out of her backpack.
Molly: Here.
Lee takes the car jack, then walkers start to push a fence down.
Lee and Molly crouch down, Molly opens the garage door a little.
Lee places the car jack under the garage door, and he starts turning it until the car jack holds the garage door up.
Lee and Molly let go and crawled under the garage door.
Lee and Molly get up, and the walkers fill the alleyway.
Molly: Hurry up, and we can get out of here.
Lee checks out the fire truck for a battery.
Lee: It doesn't have a battery.
Molly: Great.
Lee looks at the lifted up car.
Lee: I can't see a battery from this distance.
Lee looks at the hydraulic, lifting the car.
Lee: Need something sharp to cut it.
Lee walks up to Molly.
Lee: Hey.
Molly: Hey.
Lee: I need your hook thingy of yours.
Molly: I don't know, me and hilda have been through a lot.
Lee: Hilda?
Molly: My weapon don't judge.
Lee: Can I borrow hilda, I won't get a scratch on her.
Molly gives Lee, hilda.
Molly: Not a scratch.
Lee cuts the hydraulic that is holding the car up.
The car comes down slowly.
Lee: There we go.
Then the hydraulics run out, and the car comes down fast.
Lee: Woah, woah.
The car came down so fast that it made the cars alarm go off.
Molly: That's probably not good.
Lee: No shit.
Molly grabs hilda from Lee.
Molly: Grab the battery, then we need to go!
Lee unplugs the battery from the car, and the car alarm stops.
Lee: There did it!
Molly backs away from the garage door, trying to kick out the car jack while walkers are crawling under the garage door.
Molly: Here, put it in my backpack.
Lee puts the battery in her backpack.
Molly: Let's go.
Molly and Lee run to the fire truck's ladder and climb up.
The walkers get in and surround the fire truck.
Lee: Great, now what?
Molly looks up.
Molly: The skylight.
Lee pulls out his gun and shoots out the skylight.
Molly pulls out hilda and uses hilda to pull herself up.
Lee grabs Molly's hand, and she pulls him up.
Lee: Great, now we are on the roof.
Molly: Stop complaining.
Molly runs off the roof and uses hilda to reach the next roof. She uses hilda to pull herself up.
Lee: There's no way I'm making that.
Molly: C'mon, what are you chicken?
Lee: Maybe.
Lee runs off the roof and grabs Molly's hand. Molly pulls Lee up.
Lee jumped down through a hole in the building.
Lee: You coming?
Molly: I have to do something first.
Lee: What?
Molly: See ya.
Lee: No, molly, the battery!
Molly: I can't let you leave without me.
Molly runs off with the battery.
Lee: What the fuck!
Lee walks down the hallway, and Kenny and Brie run inside the door, holding gas cans.
Kenny: Little help here?
They drop the gas cans and the hatchet. Lee, Kenny, and Brie push the doors closed as walkers try to get in; the doors get stuck on a walker's head.
Kenny: Fuck, the doors won't close all the way!
Brie: Lee, do something!
Lee shoots the walker, and they successfully close the doors.
Kenny: We got it!
Brie: Brace the door with something!
Lee picks up the hatchet and sticks it between the handles.
Lee: Think that'll hold?
Kenny: It damn well better.
Brie: There's so many of them.
Lee: You got the fuel!
Kenny: Let's not start high fiving each other just yet.
Kenny:Let's get the hell back to the classroom.
Kenny:Give us a hand with these fuel cans.
Kenny:They weigh a goddamn ton.
Lee,Kenny, and Brie bring the cans to the classroom.
Clementine: You're back!
Kenny: Yeah, and we made out pretty good, too.
Ben: Great work, kenny!
Otis: So all we need is the battery and medicine.
Mark: Oh yeah lee where's the battery?
Shawn: And molly?
Lee: The battery is with molly.
Kenny: You serious?
Doug: So where's molly?
Lee: She ran off to do something.
Otis: Of course she did.
Kenny: Anyways, how're you doing with that door?
Ben: Not so good.
Kenny: Here, let me give you a hand. Kenny tries to help Ben with the door.
Lee enters the hallway again.
Lee goes to the nurse's office, where several walkers have surrounded the door.
Lee: Shit.
Lee crouches behind a piece of furniture.
Lee: Christa and vernon must be trapped in there.
Lee takes out his gun and shoots one of the walkers, drawing the other's attention toward him. He kills the remaining walkers. He enters the office, and Christa points her gun at him but puts it away after recognizing him.
Lee: What the hell happened?
Christa: They wandered into the hallway after we got inside.
Christa: I think they must have heard us rooting around in here.
Christa: The whole place is infested. Christa:They're everywhere!
Lee: Calm down.
Lee:I took care of them.
Lee:What about the meds, did we find what we need?
Vernon: Yeah, that's our other problem.
Vernon:Take a look.
Vernon:Looks like they were keeping all the prescription meds in that safe. Vernon:Locked up tight.
Lee: There's no way we can bust it open?
Vernon: Maybe with enough time.
Vernon:But I don't know how much of that we have.
Vernon:Be a hell of a lot quicker if we just knew the four-digit combination.
Christa: Well, I doubt they just wrote it down and left it here for us to find. We should just try busting it open.
Christa: We don't have any other choice.
Lee: Okay, you get started, I'll take a look around, see if I can find anything useful.
Lee walks to some kind of medical file on the table.
Lee opens the medical file. Inside is a report and picture of a woman, along with a video tape.
Lee: Anna correa.
Lee:I guess she must have been a patient here.
Lee:And what's this?
Lee takes the tape inside the folder.
Lee puts the tape into the camcorder.
Lee: Vernon,christa.
Lee:Come look at this.
The three of them gather around to view the recording.
???: This is day eighty-two since the outbreak fifteen forty-seven.
???: Doctor logan in consultation with patient anna correa.
Anna: Why are you recording this?
Logan: Regulations.
Logan: Oberson has ordered me to keep records of all medical examinations and consultations.
Logan:I need you to brace yourself, anna.
Logan:The sonogram confirms that you're pregnant.
Anna: Oh,god,oh,god,oh,god.
Logan: As you know, the rules are very clear.
Logan:The termination is mandatory.
Anna: You don't have to tell them.
Anna:Tell them it was just nausea, that you gave me something for it and it went away.
Anna:This is my problem, not yours.
Logan: If oberson finds out that I concealed evidence of a pregnancy, I'm sorry, but these are the rules.
Logan: I'm gonna give you a sedative. It'll make the procedure easier on you.
Anna: I don't want the procedure!
Anna: I want my baby!
Anna:I can't do this!
Anna:I can't do this!
Logan: Anna, you don't have a choice. Logan: Now, if you like, you can take some time with this, but I need you to come back no later than tomorrow.
Logan: Or I'll have no choice but to inform oberson myself.
Logan: I'm sorry.
Anna runs out of the room. The recording ends, and Lee takes the tape out.
Vernon: Damn it, we almost had it!
Christa: What the hell kind of place was this?
Lee: Like molly said.
Lee:The worst kind.
Vernon: Lee, maybe there's another tape.
Vernon:We've got to keep looking.
Lee: I think I recognize that doctor. Lee:He was one of the walkers out in the alley by the auto shop.
Vernon: Maybe you should search it. Vernon:See what he's got on him.
Lee exits the nurse's office and goes to the fire escape.
Lee walked down the metal steps and walked to the nearby shed.
As he is about to climb on the shelves, a walker attacks him. Lee pushes him to the ground, and a TV falls on the walker's head, killing it.
Lee climbs the shelves and jumps over the fence, sticking the landing. Logan is crawling to the end of the alley. Lee stomps on its head, killing it.
Lee search's the doctor's corpse and finds another tape and piece of paper that says "LOGAN 6-26-30".
Lee: This might be just what we need. Lee:And what's this?
Lee:Looks like some kind of code, but vernon said the safe combination was only four numbers.
Lee notices a nearby walker.
Lee:Shit.
Lee: Time to go.
Lee returns to the school.
Lee: Logan.
Lee:This must have been his locker. Lee opens the locker and takes the tape.
Lee:Another tape.
Lee:The safe combination has gotta be on one of these.
Lee returns to the nurse's office.
Lee: I found two more tapes.
Lee:One of them is dated october tenth.
Vernon:That's the day after the first one we watched.
Christa:Put it in.
Lee inserts the tape, and they watch the recording.
Logan: Have you made a decision?
Anna: I thought you said I didn't have a choice.
Logan: Well, technically, you do.
Logan:You can terminate the pregnancy or leave crawford.
Logan:Of course, that would be a death sentence for both you and your unborn child.
Anna:Maybe that's best.
Anna:I stayed up all last night thinking about this.
Anna:Why are we even trying to survive, to keep on living, if this is what it takes?
Anna:If this is what it's turned us into?
Logan: I don't make the rules, anna.
Anna: Doctor, I'm begging you.
Anna:Please help me.
Logan: Maybe one day, when things are different, you can try again.
Logan:But for now, today, we have to do this.
Logan inputs the code to the safe. Anna grabs a medical tool, stabs him in the stomach, and takes his gun.
Logan: No, no, no.
Gunshots are heard in the distance, and Logan collapses to the floor. Lee removes the tape.
Lee: I think we know what happened to crawford.
Vernon: More importantly, we've got the combination.
Christa sobs.
Lee: Christa, are you alright?
Lee:What's wrong?
Christa: It's nothing.
Christa:That was just.
Christa:Hard to watch.
Christa:Don't worry about me, I'm fine.
Lee:Alright.
Lee:Let's get those meds and get the hell out of here.
Vernon: We're in business.
Vernon takes the supplies.
Vernon:Antibiotics, morphine.
Vernon:We'll take as much of this as we can carry.
Vernon:Okay, I think we're good.
Vernon:This is more than enough for your people and mine.
Vernon:Let's go!
Lee: You know, I found a third tape in a locker outside.
Lee:Maybe there's something else on there?
Christa: We got the meds for omid.
Christa: That's all I care about.
Vernon:We'll head back to the classroom.
Vernon:Don't take too long, lee.
Christa and Vernon leave.
Lee views the recording on the camcorder. Logan zips up his pants, and Molly buttons her jacket.
Logan: Listen.
Logan:As fun as this was, I have to put a stop to this little arrangement.
Logan:This is the last I can give you.
Molly:Why?
Logan unlocks the safe.
Logan: Oberson had someone down here yesterday taking inventory.
Logan:He's really cracking down.
Logan:I just can't risk it.
Molly: We had a deal!
Logan gives the medicine to Molly.
Logan:Yes.
Logan:We had a deal.
Logan:We don't anymore.
Molly: My sister needs this medicine. Molly:Without it, she'll die.
Molly:Or she'll start showing symptoms, and they'll take her away.
Molly: I can't let that happen.
Logan: I'm sorry, molly.
Logan:I've done all I can.
Logan:But I have to look out for myself here.
Molly: Yeah, that's the crawford way, isn't it?
Molly leaves, purposely bumping into Logan on her way out. Lee takes out the tape.
Lee: Well, shit.
Lee exits the nurse's office.
Lee enters the hallway. Molly climbs down the hole and walks up to Lee.
Lee: Jesus christ.
Lee:You scared the shit out of me. Lee:Where the fuck have you been?
Molly: Sightseeing.
Lee: I'll take that battery now.
Molly:Oh yeah, about that.
Molly notices Lee's shocked face.
Molly:I'm just kidding.
Molly takes the battery out of her backpack and hands it to Lee.
Molly: Here ya go.
Lee notices Molly holding a photo in her hand.
Lee:What's that?
Molly:Nothing.
Lee:You can quit with the act, molly.
Lee:I know you're from crawford.
Molly:What?
Molly:Who told you that?
Lee:I saw you on a security tape. Lee:Why'd you lie to me?
Molly:I said there were stories about crawford, I never said that's how I knew about it.
Molly:I never lied to you.
Molly:And even if I did, so what?
Molly:I don't owe you anything.
Lee:You saved my life once, but you can't tell me the truth?
Molly:Are we really gonna do this now?
Lee:I guess that's up to you.
Molly:I used to live here with my sister.
Molly:She was fourteen years old. Molly:When the dead started walking and crawford shut itself in, it seemed like a pretty good deal at first.
Molly:We were safe.
Molly:We had everything we needed to survive.
Molly:Then the rules started coming down.
Molly:No one who couldn't justify their place, earn their keep.
Molly:No one who required special care.
Molly:My sister was diabetic, and by crawford's rules, that made her a liability.
Molly:I kept it a secret.
Molly:Kept her safe for as long as I could.
Molly:But in the end, I couldn't protect her.
Molly:That's when I got out. Molly:Crawford, they always talked about how their system worked, how anything was better than becoming "one of them."
Molly:But I saw what they'd already become.
Molly:I just wished I could have seen it before it was too late.
Molly:Before they came and took my sister away.
Molly wipes away her tear.
Molly:This is all that I have left of her. Molly shows photo of her sister.
Molly:I didn't have time to take it before I got out of crawford.
Molly:I just wanted it, okay?
Lee:It's okay, molly.
Lee:I understand.
Lee:She's pretty.
Bells start tolling.
Molly:What the hell?
Lee:I think that's our cue to get the hell out of here.
As Lee and Molly are about to turn the corner, Ben jumps out with the hatchet.
Ben:Ah!
Molly:Jesus!
Lee:Shit!
Lee:Ben!
Ben: Sorry, sorry.
Ben:I just got spooked by those bells, and then I heard someone coming.
Lee:What the fuck are you doing out here?
Ben: Kenny and I still can't get the door open to the armory.
Ben:He sent me out to look for something we can use to bust it open.
Ben: I found this.
Ben shows the hatchet to Lee and Molly.
Lee: Uh, ben.
Lee:Where did you get that?
Ben: I just found it.
Ben: It was stuck in the door handle at the end of the hallway back there.
Lee: Oh, no.
Lee:Shit!
Walkers bust through the doors. Lee draws his gun, and Molly kills several walkers with her pick. One of them grabs onto her arm, and she punches it, trying to get free.
Molly: Lee, shoot this fucker!
The walker is shot in the head.
Molly:Thanks!
Lee:It wasn't me.
Otis stands nearby, holding a gun.
Molly:Good going, kid.
Molly:Nice shot!
Otis: C'mon!
The group runs to the classroom and Brie holds the doors closed.
Kenny:What the fuck is going on?
Lee: They're coming!
Kenny: Oh, shit.
Otis: Oh shit is right!
Vernon: That oughta hold 'em!
Brie: Sure, but now how do we get out?!
Kenny continually tries to knock the door down by slamming his shoulder into it.
Kenny:Through the armory, if we can just get this damn door open!
Ben offers Lee the hatchet, and he angrily grabs it.
Kenny:Come on, damn you!
Ben: This is my fault, all my fault.
Christa: What the hell's he babbling about?
Lee: Ben, we talked about this.
Christa: No, wait, I want to know what he meant.
Christa:What do you mean, this is all your fault?
Otis:Not right now, ben.
Ben: Kenny, I'm so sorry.
Ben: I'm so sorry, man.
Kenny: Kid, this ain't the best time! Kenny:Whatever you did, save it for later!
Doug:Whatever you have to tell us.
Doug:Tell us back at the house.
Shawn:This isn't your fault.
Mark:He's right it just happened.
Ben: No!!!
Ben: I don't mean right now.
Lee: Ben, we don't have time for this now!
Ben: I'm sorry, lee.
Ben:I can't do this anymore.
Ben:He's got a right to know.
Christa: Know what?
Otis: Shut up, christa!
Ben: It's been me all along, putting all of us in danger!
Ben: Katjaa and duck, it was all me!
Ben:It was all me!
Kenny kicks the door open.
Kenny: Wait a minute, what are you saying?
Ben: It was me who made the deal with the bandits at the motor inn, slipping them supplies!
Ben: I thought maybe I could keep them off our backs!
Ben: When it got discovered, that's when they attacked.
Ben:That's when duck.
Kenny lunges at Ben, and Vernon and Lee hold him back.
Lee: Kenny, lay off, man!
Lee: Ben didn't mean for any of this to happen!
Lee: It was all just a mistake!
Kenny: I don't give a fuck!
Kenny stops struggling to attack Ben.
Molly: Nice group you got here.
Lee: Not the time, molly!
Kenny: If this asshole thinks he's getting on my boat after what he did, he's out of his motherfucking mind! Kenny shoves Ben.
Kenny: You hear me, shitbird?!
Kenny: You can stay behind and fucking rot!
Lee: Kenny, I know you're upset, I understand, but you don't get to make a decision like that on your own. Lee:We're all in this together.
Lee:We're a group.
Kenny: Sure, take a vote!
Kenny:This is america, fuck it!
Kenny:But before you all decide, there's something you oughta know.
Kenny: The boat's not big enough for all of us!
Kenny:Somebody's gotta get left behind!
Kenny:Might as well be this piece of shit right here!
Christa: Well, I vote we leave him.
Christa:I'm sorry, ben.
Christa:I know you mean well, but all I want to do is get back to omid.
Christa:And you put that at risk.
Clem: Wait, don't I get a vote?
Lee: Of course you do.
Clem: Ben's nice.
Clem:He's my friend.
Clem:We don't leave friends behind. Clem:That's my vote.
Christa: On second thought, I think I'm gonna abstain.
Christa: Lee?
Otis: I agree with clem.
Shawn: Me too.
Mark: Sure.
Doug: I'll abstain, too.
Lee: I've seen enough of crawford to know that becoming like them is the beginning of the end.
Lee: I vote, ben stays with us!
Clem smiles.
Brie: What about the rest of us?
Brie: Don't we get a say in.
Brie screams as a walker breaks through the door and grabs her. Walkers grabbed onto her and bite her, then rip out her guts with their teeth.
Vernon: Brie!
Molly: Now, can we go?
Lee: Damn right!
Lee:Vernon, come on!
Otis: I completely forgot about her.
The group runs through the armory door. Lee tries to slam it closed, but it doesn't stay that way.
Lee: So much for the armory.
Kenny: What's left of it.
Christa: A few rounds, that's it.
Lee holds the door closed.
Kenny: You didn't close that door behind us?
Lee: I couldn't, the lock was busted!
Kenny: Great, just fucking great.
Kenny: Come on, there's gotta be a way out down here!
The group walks down the stairs and opens the door, finding a bunch of walkers that instantly head toward them. Lee hurriedly closes the door.
Kenny: Fuck!
Lee:It's not gonna hold!
Lee:Back upstairs!
Kenny takes a rifle from a nearby corpse as the others run upstairs.
Kenny: Lee, look!
Kenny tosses Lee the rifle and joins the group. Lee fires at the walkers as they walk through the door. Lee backs up the stairs and continues to shoot the walkers. His foot breaks through one of the steps. Lee alternates between shooting the walkers and pulling his leg. Eventually, he gets free and tries to keep walking up the stairs but finds there are walkers there, too. Christa kills some of them. Lee takes out the hatchet and kills walkers as he continues up the stairs. His hatchet gets stuck in the back of one of the walker's heads; he pushes it over the edge, but it grabs onto his gun.
Lee shoots the walker, and it falls.
Lee reaches the top of the stairs, where the rest of the group is. Vernon looks out the window.
Kenny: Come on!
Clementine hugs Lee.
Lee: It's alright, clem.
Lee:I'm fine.
Lee: Anyway, out of here?
Christa:This leads to the roof, we might be able to find a way down from there.
Vernon:You didn't come into town from the railroad, did you?
Kenny:Yeah, why?
Vernon:Never mind.
Vernon:I can see the sewer where we came in from here.
Vernon:I think we can do this.
Kenny:Well, what are we waiting for? Kenny: Go!
Kenny: Go!
Everyone except Lee and Kenny climb out the window.
Lee: Ben, come on, let's go!
The bell starts tolling. As it moves back and forth, the walker hanging from the bell swings toward Ben and grabs him.
Lee shoots the walker; the rope around its neck snaps, and it falls, taking Ben with it, but he manages to grab onto the edge. His hand slips, but Lee grabs his arm.
Lee:Hold on, ben!
Lee:I've got you!
Lee:Ben, climb up!
Lee:Come on, you can do it!
Ben:There's no time!
Ben:You have to go, now!
Lee: Quit fucking around, ben!
Lee:Come on!
Ben:Let go, damn it!
Ben: Get clem,otis and the others out of here!
Kenny: Lee.
Kenny stands in front of the window.
Kenny looks at Lee, implying what he should do, then leaves.
Ben: Lee, we both know.
Ben lets go, but Lee continues to hold on to his arm.
Ben:Let me go!
Walkers get closer to the top of the stairs.
Lee pulls Ben up.
Ben: Why?
Lee: Go, go, go!
