"Well, since I can't lie to you anymore, I will tell you everything that happened," Volt said. She looked down at her hands and then fiddled with her fingers, quite nervous.

Shoutout nodded, wanting to know the truth.

"I had a dream that I was out fighting a villain, and I lost my superpower," she started to explain. "I lied to you, Mika, and said that I wanted to take that call on my own so I could better myself. In reality, I wanted to take it on my own so that I could see if the dream would come true."

Shoutout was shocked as she already understood what her friend was about to say. "Chapa, don't tell me . . ." She was too astonished that she couldn't even finish her sentence.

Volt nodded.

"Chapa! Why didn't you tell us?! We could have helped you out with this!" Shoutout told her in a more stern voice.

"Because I called a real scientist to help me," Volt stated. "But still, we were unsuccessful." She hated to admit that.

"Let us help you," Shoutout said.

"Yeah, we can help," Brainstorm added.

"But Schwoz already tried," Volt told them. "And we were unsuccessful. He said that isn't physically impossible. We tried everything that we could, and he took so much of my blood, too. It's pointless! I can't be in Danger Force without my superpower!" she cried out, her voice now high-pitched

"Chapa, yes you can," Awol patted her shoulder.

"Listen, Chapa. Having a superpower does not make you a superhero," Shoutout explained. "You can still be a hero without your electrokinesis. I know that you have what it takes to be a superhero. You are one of the strongest people I know, and I can tell that having power should not define who you are as a hero."

Volt looked around at her three friends and then shook her head. "No," she demanded. "It does." She shoved herself out of the bed and started to leave the bedroom.

"Chapa, no, it doesn't!" Awol yelled.

"Yes, it does, and I've already decided that I am becoming a supervillain because villains don't have powers." She exited the room afterward.

The other three shared looks at one another, concerned. They didn't know whether she was being serious or not.

"Local Swellview citizen Clarissa Delmont is running around as our own superhero Volt, and we have no idea where the real hero is. We do have the citizen here with us today to explain what happened to the real superhero," Trent explained, as he and Mary were live on television.

"That's right, Trent," Mary agreed. "So, here with us today, please welcome Clarissa Delmont! Or superhero's fake Volt!" She gave her cheeky smile towards the camera.

A woman came out on the set in uniform. It was weird that she actually told the newcasters her identity. "Hello," she said as she sat down in the middle of the two newscasters.

"Welcome, Clarissa," Trent said. "So, can you tell us what exactly happened at the park today with superhero Volt?"

"Yeah," she said. "Volt was just running around the street, yelling, 'I don't want to be Volt anymore,' and she kept asking people if they would take her gum. Then she came up to me and just shoved her gum in my face. I asked her if everything was okay, and she said that she didn't want to be volt and to make sure to blow a bubble when I had the gum," Clarissa explained to them.

"That's odd," Mary commented.

"Did she do anything else?" Trent then asked.

"Not really. She just ran down the road and yelled that she didn't want to be volt again. Then, she tripped and fell unconscious. I believe that Shoutout and Awol found her and took her back to the Man's Nest, or some place for her to recover."

"So, if she's still Volt, then what are you doing in her uniform?" Mary asked, looking down at the woman with a puzzled look on her face.

"Oh, um, I don't really know how to take it off," Clarissa nervously smiled. It was true. She was a bit stuck in it.

"Hmm."

Chapa had that news segment on repeat. She was mad that she was talked about, but the more she watched it, she started to not care as much. She wasn't Volt anymore. She would never be Volt now that she had her new villain persona. After she ran out from Mika and Miles's house, she knew that they would find her in her own home, hiding.

She hated to run from her problems, but ever since she started doing it, it really seemed to be working out for her.

"I'm here to change your mind," Mika said as she walked into the house. She had a look of determination.

Chapa rolled her eyes and watched as the woman came in completely uninvited. "That won't happen," she then said.

"Yes, it will," Mika declared. "Why the hell do you want to become a supervillain?" she asked in pure confusion.

"Because I would be much happier there. Um, you know, I never said you could come in?" She questioned her friend.

"I came in myself. Chapa, you know how much you like to be a hero. It's so stupid how you think that you need to be able to zap people to death to be super," Mika went on. She looked upset, and it was obvious Chapa had done wrong.

Chapa looked annoyed. "Whatever."

"Chapa, just come back to Danger Force, and we can help fix this." She tried to persuade her.

"I already tried to fix it," she answered, even more annoyed with her friend. "I already tried, and it failed, so then I got Schwoz and Ray to help me, and it failed again. Schwoz told me that there is a very good chance my superpower will never come back, and I need to live with that," she then explained, her voice lowered due to the frustration in it.

"I'm smart too," Mika said, looking disgusted. "Let me try to help you, Chapa, please! I want you to come back to Danger Force! And apparently, you have to come back because Bose thinks he's failing without you or whatever."

"He's not failing," Chapa declared. "He wants to fail because the kid can't do anything on his own. I'm not coming back, Mika. I am going to become a villain whether you like it or not. I am better off as one anyway. These are my kind of people, and you need to accept that for me."

Mika looked in thought for a moment and then nodded. "Okay," she replied. "If you want to be a villain, then be a villain. I don't care." She folded her arms. Now, she was the one who was showing some frustration. "You will literally get put in jail every day of your life and will end up so miserable when you do." Her voice sounded so frustrated.

"No, I won't. I'll be running that prison in no time if I even get locked in it. I might be so good that none of you little heroes can catch me. So, get out of my house because I have a villains party to attend to."

"You're attending their parties, but you won't attend ours?!" Mika cried out, now visibly upset.

"Your parties are lame," Chapa answered. "The villains party I will be attening is where it's at. And it's being held at the beatin' dungeon while your parties were held at the park. That's an upgrade if I do say so myself," she went on.

"Okay, show off," Mika groaned.

"Now get out so I can get ready for the party." Chapa pushed her out of the house. She didn't want to leave, but Chapa was sure to make her leave.

Mika was a bit angered, but she left the house like she was told to. She didn't want to, but she knew to respect her friend no matter how stupid the situation might have been
