"Freeze, Mitch!" Shoutout yelled as the four of them rolled up to the crime scene. They looked cool while they did it.
He instantly dropped his stolen candies and then put his hands up in defense, as if he were to surrender to them.
"Someone cuff him, quick," Awol demanded.
Brainstorm and Volt both rushed up to the stupid criminal and put the hand cuffs around his wrists once they had finally gotten his hands behind his back. He was upset that he would be taken to jail yet again after his failed attempt.
Jeff Bilsky came up to the crime scene moments later, with a rather somber look on his face.
"Woah, bigger Bilsky!" Brainstorm shouted, rushing behind Volt to hide from the criminal. Volt looked pissed.
"Hey, rude," Jeff said. "But it is true; I am bigger and even better than Mitch is."
"Um, dude, I'm right here," Mitch complained.
"Oh, right," Jeff frowned.
"What do you want, Jeff?" Shoutout furiously asked him.
He held up his hands in immediate surrender. "Relax, silver shit, I just want to send my condolences to my little bro before he heads to jail again." He looked annoyed and unsurprised as he said the last word.
"Um, why?" Volt questioned in bewilderment.
Jeff scoffed. "Because Red Rose, he's my brother, and I am supposed to support him, even in the times I don't want to because he's such a gunch," he explained to the superhero.
Awol shook his head in disappointment and disbelief. "Well, then go ahead. But you've only got three minutes."
"I was just about to yellow yahoo."
"Okay, what's with the names?" Volt asked, confused.
Jeff rolled his eyes. "Because I'm trying to be creative here, Red Robin. Wasn't that obvious?! God, you people are so annoying, I can't stand it."
"Whatever," Volt sighed. "Just say goodbye to Mitch so we can send him to jail."
"Wait, do I get a name?!" Brainstorm questioned excitedly.
"Yeah, sure, you're blue bitch or blue bacon, or I don't care whatever; let me say goodbye to my brother." He took Mitch far from the team so that he could not be heard. He had something up his sleeve and didn't want them to know.
He leaned into his brother. "I'll be back to bail you out. I'm going to try to steal the boot while they kick your boot in the jail cell."
"You'll actually come back for me?"
"Uh, yeah," Jeff laughed. "Who am I going to spread my awesome criminal wisdom to?"
"Oh, right. Thanks, dude. I'll head back to the idiots; they don't think something is up." Mitch quickly headed back, and Jeff tried not to make a scene.
"Alright, let's go, Mitch." Shoutout took him by the arm and dragged him down the street. The rest followed, and Jeff hurried off toward the store to steal the candy boot.
Before he could reach inside the store, Volt electrocuted him to death and made sure that he was unconscious. When she realized that he was, she ran off with the others.

The four were sitting on the couch, watching The Dog Bachelor, as they hadn't seen it in what felt like eternity. They were just about to announce the winner when there was another emergency call that came in for them. Chapa groaned, Mika was excited to take it, Miles slammed his soda bottle on the table, and Bose was a little pissed off.
"Why couldn't this call wait until after they announce the winner?" Chapa asked, jumping down from the couch.
"Right?!" Miles agreed.
"Bogey was so close to winning the finals," Bose said.
"Nah, it was definitely going to be Martha," Miles replied.
"It was Charlene; now here, take your gum." Mika tossed them their tubes as she was already suited and ready.
"Yeah, that's my girl," Chapa chuckled as she pulled out a gumball. Everyone was ready to take this call, even her.
Awol headed over to the tube pad and waited for his teammates to follow. Shoutout did, after a moment, attempt to help Brainstorm situate himself. Awol shook his head at their comment and their failure.
As Volt blew a bubble and transformed into her uniform, something was not right. She felt an odd twinge in her eyes and in her entire body. She felt something that she had never felt before and was confused about it. She looked at her hands and made them spark. Everything was normal. But that sensation didn't feel normal to her. It was weird.
"You coming, Chapa?" Awol asked, ready to fight crime. Everyone was watching her with so many different emotions. She was certainly a bit worried about her.
She took another glance at her hands and then felt that odd twinge inside them. It didn't last long, and she decided it would be best to let it slide. It was probably just her nerves, as she hadn't been in her uniform in a hot moment. She rushed up onto the tube pad and waited.
"So glad the team is back," Brainstorm commented.
"Same," Shoutout answered, smiling.
"Let's go do what we do best and fight some crime," Awol said in his goofy tone of voice. No one had noticed how different Volt felt now that she witnessed that sensation. Awol yelled the phrase, and the four were shot downward.
It was time to fight crime now that everything was back to normal again. And hopefully, nothing will ever change.
