"No," Dasilvolt said with a shrug.

Shoutout and Awol eyed her with confusion. Brainstorm was always confused, which was not a surprise for them.

"I will not come back to the team. I'm just going to lose my superpower again if I do. It's a sacred power that I must keep to myself and not use on pitiful villains like these."

A lot of the villains did not like her comment and started to complain to their peers about it. She didn't care about it.

"Volt, this is ridiculous," Awol stated.

"Then I'm ridiculous," she responded hastily. "And frankly, I don't care about that. These villains understand me more than you ever have. They actually want me to fight alongside them, and I think I want to do the same thing. So, if my power is really back." She tried to create a shock from her hands, and it worked. "Then we will do that."

"Volt, you are being such an idiot!" Shoutout declared.

"Sorry," she answered in that goofy tone. "How about we take down these three supes, huh?" She turned around to the villains, and they all cheered in confirmation. The Lawn Ranger hurried up to them and started throwing grass on their faces and heads.

After that, everyone rushed in and started to fight the three superheroes. Dasilvolt headed over to the bar and sat down.

"You're really joining us?" A random villain asked her, downing a drink that she liked.

She looked over, confused as to who it was. "Yeah," she said once she realized that it was Nurse Cohort. "Those three don't need me. And now that I've got my superpower back, we as villains can be stronger than ever," she stated.

"You'll use your powers to help us defeat the heroes?"

"Of course. We were meant to be the more powerful team. Just look at them, suffering. I finally have my power back, and I'm going to put it to good use."

"Do you think there is a way for us villains to ever have a superpower too?" Cohort then asked, looking alarmed.

"There was a theory on that a while back, but it's sad to say it's been debunked. You need the Omega Weapon, and no one knows how to rebuild it after it was broken," she said.

"Are there any prints to help us?"

"Unfortunately, there isn't," Dasilvolt sighed. "My co-boss made it entirely from scratch, but it broke after me, and those other three got our powers. It was only good for one use anyway." She looked down at her hands and exhaled.

Nurse Cohort slid a drink down toward the end of the table. Dasilvolt saw it and took the nice gesture. She thanked her and downed the contents of the drink.

"What do you want to do first as villains?" Cohort asked.

"I'm not sure. Probably run around town and start stealing a bunch of shit until no one has pockets or hands left. Then maybe we'll torment some random strangers or something. I don't know. We can figure that out later on."

"Right."

__________

"Come on, hands behind your back," the officer demanded of Dasilvolt, holding onto her shoulders to make sure she listened to his orders.

"I am," she replied hastily. "I am."

He placed the handcuffs on her wrists and then pushed her into the vehicle. The other villains watched as she was arrested. Some of the villains were arrested as well, but it was not as bad as what Dasilvolt was heading in for.

Dasilvolt sat down in her chair and dialed the numbers on the phone she needed. She was thankful to have one phone call, and this one she would put to some good use.

"Hm, Chapa?" It was Mika Macklin.

"Hey, Mika," she said in pure shame.

"Calling me to tell me you want to come back to the team?"

"...yeah..."

"Okay, what happened?"

"I got arrested . . ." Dasilvolt fiddled around with the old spring on the phone. You could tell how held this prison was just by looking at the devices.

"Oh my god. I didn't think that would happen."

"That's my bad." Dasilvolt lowered her head in sadness. "So, can you come bail me out and plead to these officers and guards that I'm innocent? I don't want to be a villain anymore. It's too much work to boss these idiots around."

"I knew you would come to your senses," Mika breathed. "Me and Bose will be over in a bit."

"What about Miles?"

"He's at home doing work with mom. So, I'll come bail you out. Is there any chance you know the price of this bail?"

"I would bring it all," Dasilvolt said, her tone menacing.

"Okay, that will do. See you in a little bit, Chapa."

"Bye." She hung up the phone and looked around. Guards had been everywhere, and she was scared to even make a move. Before she could, one of them shouted that she was done with her phone call, and two others rushed to take her back to her jail cell. She was startled and a little bit sad.

She was an idiot for thinking that she wanted to be a villain. Sure, the others understood her more than her own teammates did, but that didn't mean anything. Having a superpower does not define who she is as a fighter, and she should have realized that long ago.

She would forever be grateful that Mika was not mad at her for what she did. And she would be forever grateful that Mika was even coming down to bail her out of jail as well.
