Rias: What?

Issei: It sounds odd, but I have loved and relished freedom ever since I could remember. The wind hitting my face while running through open fields just felt right. That's how I wanna live life.

Rias: I'm sorry, but if I let you go, you would be marked a stray, painting a target on your back.

Issei: I see, well-

Rias: However, I can assure you that you will be as free as you were before being a part of my peerage, just listen to my requests when I ask them.

Issei: That's as good as it can get right? Well then, you got yourself a deal!

Rias: Since that is done with, may I ask why there was a faint holy presence in your home?

Issei: Holy presence? Shoot! I gotta get home before Asia gets worried! Talk to ya tomorrow Rias!

Rias: Hey wait!

Before he could hear her, Issei sprinted home, hoping Asia wasn't too worried about him. Rias lets a heavy sigh out.

Akeno: We sure have an interesting character. Why didn't you mention that he possessed a Sacred Gear?

Rias: It must've slipped my mind, I'll be sure to ask him tomorrow.

Issei: -yawn- What time is it? What do ya know, I'm pretty early today!

Going through his prerequisites for the morning, he walks downstairs and greets Asia who's currently cooking in the kitchen.

Issei: Mornin', Asia.

Asia: Oh! Good morning Issei! You're up early today!

Issei: I still feel bad for letting you cook for me.

Asia: It's my way of repaying you for being my first friend and saving me!

Issei: Still doesn't make me feel not guilty. But still, thanks for the food!

They enjoy a peaceful morning over breakfast. Getting ready to head out they see a red-haired girl waiting for one of them.

Asia and Issei: R-Rias-senpai!? | What're you doin' here?

Rias: Good morning, Issei! Before we go I need to talk to you for a bit.

Issei: Alright... Sorry Asia, could you wait a bit?

She pulls him aside and starts loudly whispering to him, Asia stands there confused at the interaction.

Rias: Issei, you know devils can't interact with anything holy, right?

Issei: Nope, but I always assumed because of holy water and whatnot. Besides, what does that matter? I'd feel bad if I just left Asia out on the streets with no home.

Rias: We'll discuss this later.

Rias: I apologize about this, Asia, was it?

Asia: uh-Yes! My name is Asia Argento, nice to meet you!

She introduces herself and bows politely to her upperclassman.

Issei: Man, we really gotta get your confidence up...
