A winged figure, obscured by the shadows of night, throws spears of light at the civilians. A brown-haired woman stands between the winged man and Issei.
???: Run Issei! Never look back! Go on, and live life!
Flames high in the sky, a town burns to the ground as a smaller Issei runs away at high speeds. Tears flowing in his eyes, he runs into the forest, never turning back. The last thing he hears is the screams and cries of pain.

Issei: I won't let it happen again, and especially not because of you, Egghead!
He rushes towards the center of Kouh, where the large mech is located. Using his speed, he jumps up and kicks the Eggman-shaped robot, which sends back a little before it rebalances. This allows time for Matsuda to pull the Tornado 2 back before landing on the ground in Cyclone mode.
{Ah, if it isn't the blue blur!}
Issei: What's the occasion Eggman? You said you wouldn't be back for a couple of months. It's only been at most a week and a half!
{Oh but I am still on vacation!}
The hatch on top opens to reveal nobody inside.
{I'm still doing a little research and found some interesting technology on these islands. You could say they were, 'Ancient'. I decided that a good test run would be on you and your little buddies!}
Issei: Really? I don't see a difference. Guess I gotta find out!
Motohama: Issei, wait!
The DER goes in to stomp Issei, only for him to slide under the foot and attack the bottom of the robot. His kick proves ineffective, after punching and kicking the metal a few more times, only minimal damage is shown. He bounces off and the robot turns its head to him.
{I also accounted for any weak spots you exploited in our last battle with this!}
The robot shines as if building up some sort of power. Issei tries to interrupt it but is blown away by the burst of energy.
Matsuda: What the hell is this?!
At unforeseen speeds for its size, the mech swings its spiked hand at Issei, who is caught off guard and smashed into a building. Lightning strikes the top of the mech's head, but it is unfazed. it turns to see the Gremory Peerage hovering in the sky.
{My, I'm impressed! You managed to get quite the beauties as friends Sonic, I might even say I'm jealous!}
Issei groans from inside the building.
Motohama: They're from before. So devils are real?
Matsuda: Looks like it, and Sonic over here knows them.
A green glow shines from inside the building before Issei bursts out from within with vigor.
Issei: Koneko, Irina, Xenovia, you're with me! Rias and Akeno, help Tails in the skies! Kiba, evacuate anyone still in the area! Let's go! [Boost!]
