Friable (Luigi x Reader)

Ch. 11

You slowly wake up to the feeling of unsettling energy. You open your eyes slightly only to close them back up due to the suns bright rays. Getting up was almost impossible as you realized your legs were sore from walking so much yesterday. How annoying. You walked around the cabin with sleepy eyes, that was until you noticed a green hat on the hat rack. The same green 'L' hat that your favorite person wore. 

"What. . ?" 

You mumbled under your breath. Just then you heard light snores coming from your arm chair. You ended up progressing slowly down your staircase and to the arm chair to find who you suspected: Luigi. What was he doing here!? How did he- That's right! You showed him how to get here from the mushroom kingdom! Damn! What were you supposed to do now? The main question still stands, why is he even here? You could've sworn he read your letter? You looked into his features a little more and realized not only did his under eyes had dark circles, he looked like he was just crying.

"Poor Luigi. . I didn't mean to cause so much pain towards you. . ." You whispered and only turned around. You walked over to the kitchen and started making waffles. You might as well explain something for leaving so abruptly. But what? You had no clue. Maybe the good old: "I wanted to see the world myself and didn't want you to follow me!" trick would work. No, no. He's not stupid! Or maybe I could say that something urgent came up! Yeah! I mean, it isn't lying. Mario and Peach were way too close to figuring you out so it wouldn't be lying to him. 

"W-Waffles?" 

You heard the boy say under his breath. Crap! He's up! Ok, ok, I just have to calm down and tell him that something came up when he asks! You gulped down your anxiety and responded to the clueless boy.

"Hey Luigi. . . been a minute huh?"

You heard him gasp lightly and turn towards the kitchen where you were. You giggled at his reaction as he got up quickly and ran towards you. 

'Well, I guess I deserve this huh? Leaving so randomly definitely deserves a punishment of some sort.' 

You closed your eyes expecting impact towards your body in some way but instead, you got a tight embrace by the green boy. You didn't know how to react to such a response. Do you hug back? Do you let him hug you without doing anything? What do you do!?

"I thought I'd never see you again! I came back here for a last minute memory of you so I fell asleep here! But. . . I'm so glad I get to see you again! Where did you go!?"

"I. . . Uhm. . . I can't. . . Hang around you anymore. . ."

You finally were able to muster the broken sentence you didn't want to say but it had to be done. . . Right? He let go of you and backed up a step to look at you in the face, yet you only looked down at your feet. You couldn't look him in the face with such horrible news.

"Wh-Why not!?"

You sighed to that response. You needed to tell him the truth, but even the truth hurt you to say. He meant a lot to you which is exactly why you left. If he found out who you truly were, he would never forgive you for one, lying and for two, having magic in your possession. From what you knew, magic was a horrifying thing to have and you couldn't risk Luigi's life for being able to use it.

"I can't tell you. . .It's far too dangerous. ."

He looked devastated as he watched your eyes look up and capture his. This definitely hurt him tremendously, but it hurt you just as bad to say to him. The sorrow and tears welling up into his eyes hurt to look at. You wanted to look away again but Luigi had his thumb and pointer finger trapping your chin to look at his face. You felt your tears welling up in your eyes as well just from looking at his saddened blue eyes. You could only watch as his tears began to flow out of his eyes and down his cheeks. You watched his tears fall down from his cheeks and to his chin just to fall the ground. You felt things roll down you cheek as well so you assumed you were crying too. You completely gave in and started crying up a storm. Your knees became weak and your face fell out of Luigi's hand and you fell to the floor. You tried to wipe away the tears, but they wouldn't stop flowing no matter how many times you wiped them off your face. You felt Luigi wrap his arms around your body again and into a light embrace this time. You gave in this time. You grabbed onto Luigi's green shirt and cried every tear you had kept in for so long onto his green turtleneck. 

"I'm so sorry Luigi! I want to tell you so bad but I don't know what will happen to you if I do! I'm so so sorry Luigi!"

You kept repeating the words 'I'm sorry' and 'I'm so so sorry' over and over. No matter how many times Luigi would assure you that it was fine, it didn't stop the words from pouring out. If there was a better word for apologizing, you would say that one a million times over. You felt guilt, and despair but him just being there you felt glad and relieved he was perfectly fine. You wanted to stay by Luigi for as long as possible, maybe longer. And yet, God was not on your side and you had to leave before you wanted to. To those who are evil, you were blessed with such power but to you, you were cursed to never be around those who you care about or to meet anyone knew. A curse but a blessing. It shattered your soul thinking about it. This journey hurt you far too much. You wished it would just be one big nightmare and you would wake up next to Luigi back in the castle on that bed you two shared together that night. And yet that was just not the case. The two of you sat there for at least 30 minutes in each others arms just enjoying the embrace. You still repeated your 'sorry' until you were muffled by something soft. You opened your eyes to find your lips connected to Luigi's like back in your temporary room. That sweet bliss you missed so much. The connection you longed to return to you. You gave into the kiss and it progressively got stronger as it continued. You separated the kiss to get air as a string of saliva connected your lips together.

"Sorry! I got carried away. . . Plus, you don't need to apologize so much. I forgive you already."

You sat there shocked until the smell of burning waffles caught your nose.

"THE WAFFLES!"

You yelled as you got up quickly and moved the pan off the eye and fanned the smoke out through the kitchen window. You sighed and slid down the island counters. Luigi sat next to you and only watched your stressed face get replaced with a more relaxed one. You looked at Luigi until you remembered the dark circles under his eyes. 

"How. . . How much sleep have you been getting with me gone. .?"

He looked at you for a minute. Then looked down at his legs that he was holding onto. He didn't respond right away but he did end up responding after about a minute.

"About 3 hours since you left."

Your eyes widened slightly. Did he mean just today or overall!?

"Luigi? Don't tell me that number means overall. . . right?"

He didn't reply. You gasped slightly and hugged the boy. You felt like crying again but held it back.

"Were going to my room. The adventure can wait until tomorrow Raven, Luigi needs rest first."

Raven only nodded and ran to their bed and fell asleep. You got up and held your hand down to Luigi's level to help him up. He grabbed your arm and got up. As he tried to let go, you held your grip a little stronger and led him to your room. You pushed him onto the bed.

"Sleep. Now."

You had a stern tone. He wanted to talk back and refuse your request but you had something up your sleeve. You were still in your pajama's so you had no problem laying back down. You walked up to Luigi as he was still siting on your bed about to get up. You grabbed his shoulders and pushed him back down to the bed, then you pushed him to lay down. He got flustered really quickly. You then jumped into him and ended up hugging him to the point where he couldn't get up.

"Sleep. I'm sleeping with you."

Luigi was now speechless. He couldn't move to refuse now though. He just accepted it and hugged you back so now you two were cuddling. You then heard those light snores that eased you slightly. You missed this feeling of warmth next to you that wasn't a pillow or a blanket. You ended up falling asleep quicker than expected. Asleep for the adventure tomorrow would bring you.

ITS ALMOST BEEN TWO MONTHS!? ACK I AM SO SORRY ;w; 

I do hope this was a decent chapter though as I'm still trying to think of what this sparkling springs. PIRATE CHAPTERS!? OOOOO IM THINKING NOW! >:3
