"You... you're coming with us"

Derek's voice echoed, I shook my head to bring me out of my thoughts realizing now that I'm sitting in the back of the blue jeep that Derek and I stumbled into

"Who are you?" the teenage boy asked while driving, glancing in the rear view mirror to look at me

I crossed my arms in discomfort "Amelia"

the boy scoffed "you gotta last name"
I could tell it was a rhetorical question, but it made me lean forward crossing my arms over my chest and I glared at him giving him a scoff of my own "yeah I do"

the boy rolled his eyes and and his grip on the steering wheel tightened turning his knuckles ghost white, I went to say something, a snarky sarcastic comment maybe but before I could a ring came through my ears and I glanced over to see the boy quickly answering his phone, I didn't care much for the conversation I just leaned toward Derek and whispered "I'm sorry"

He turned towards me with a confused look almost in a questioning way but I didn't have an answer because even I didn't know why I was apologizing to the werewolf, our eyes met, he looked so tired, I could tell it was because the wound was putting a strain on his body, I couldn't bring myself to look away from his light green eyes, it's like I could see his entire soul behind them, looking so vulnerable and weak

"Oh your not gonna believe where he's telling me to take you" the boy gagged while handing Derek the phone forcing us to break the intense eye contact
"Did you find it?" He questioned in shaky breaths as soon as the phone reached his ear

"I'm stiles" the boy turned to me and I just gave him a side eye as I saw him reach out his hand
I slowly reached up to shake it "pleasure I'm sure"
the tone in my voice came off unintentionally cold

Derek tossed the phone back in stiles lap before we sped off, I leaned back in the seat allowing myself to sink, i felt as if I was digging my own grave sitting in a car with the wolf that my mom shot, the wolf she shot with the bullets I made

Stiles slammed on the breaks forcing my body to fly forward as he put it in park, I then quickly hopped out the car, I'm suppose to be at family dinner right now, I'm so gonna be in trouble when I get home

I helped Derek out of the car wrapping his arm around my neck as we walked behind what looked like an animal clinic, stiles pulled a door up and when we walked in I let Derek stumble and fall on a bag of dog food that rested by the wall and as he sat down he took a deep breath, he was looking worse and worse by the minute
