•*•*•*•the rev of my engine died down as Allison and I hopped out the car, I parked right at the beginning of the trail that we always enjoyed running together, I walked around the car to stand next to my cousin, the black spandex that I was wearing wrapped tightly around my thighs, my hair pulled back into a loose pony tail with small strands of my blonde hair blowing in my face from the cool breeze, the sun was beginning to set as I crossed my arms over the black sports bra that covered my breasts, I glanced toward Allison as she began to walk along the trail, my eyes wrinkled in confusion while I jogged after her until I reached her side, slowing my pace back to a walk
"you ready to tell me what happen the other night?" the tone of her voice came off angrily as she looked straight ahead of her not even glancing toward me as she spoke, she crossed her arms over her chest as we continued walking, I took a split second to glance at her face before returning my eyes to the front of us only to lie "you know as much as I do"
"then why do I get the feeling your not telling me everything" Allison rolled her eyes
I quickly planted my feet in place and stopped walking as I looked at the back of her head, she walked a couple feet in front of me before stopping to turn around and face me, I studied her face for any sign of what might be going through her head as I spoke "I don't know what you're talking about, we tell each other everything, we always have"
she looked me up and down, my heart beginning to race, I shifted my body weight in discomfort as I crossed my arms once again over my heaving chest, "I would believe you, but you've never been a great liar" she glared at me as I raised my eyes brows in confusion, I tried to softly laugh it off "Ally, Cmon..." but she quickly cut me off, I guess trying to lighten the mood wasn't the best choice "save it, you and Scott have both been keeping things from me and until you come clean, just keep your distance"
My mouth dropped in confusion and shock, we are family, we live in the same household, I don't know what she thinks she's doing but it's not gonna last, I went to speak but before I could she rolled her eyes and turned around before beginning to take off running along the trail, her hair flying all over the place
"Allison!" She didn't turn around or even acknowledge my plea for her to come back
what am I doing, keeping all these secrets is gonna come back to bite me in the ass, none of this feels right, part of me kinda wished we had stayed gone, far away from beacon hills, I wouldn't be questioning everything, I wouldn't be lying to the people I care about, I wouldn't be wondering whether a werewolf that I'm suppose to be hunting is dead or alive, it wouldn't be this exhausting to be alive
