Hao practically ran out of the classroom when the bell rang. He already had his bag up and ready even before class finished, just so that he could be the first one out of that door.
He quickly takes his phone out of his pocket to see if Jun texted him.
He didn't.

Hao taps his foot against the floor while waiting for a response, feeling giddy and excited. As he feels his phone vibrate, his heart skips a beat and he immediately looks down at the text. His smile drops

I thought we were going to hang out?

Hao practically starts running after he answers, dodging most of the students who are in his way. Sure, he's disappointed that Jun forgot that they were hanging out, but it's not like he canceled their plans, right? They're still going to hang out after all, and Hao really couldn't ask for more.
Hell, maybe Jun will even ask him to be his boyfriend today! Or they might have their first kiss!
Hao smiles giddily at the thought. Maybe they won't be a situationship anymore
"Hao! Wait up"
Hao turns around and frowns as he sees Hanbin running towards him
"What's up? I'm kinda in a hurry, Hanbin" Hao says, trying to sound as kind as he possibly can
"Really? Where are you going?"
"Hanging out with Jun... can you believe it?!" Hao says, jumping up and down excitedly. Hanbin smiles at him
"I don't know, can I? Didn't you tell Matthew that you would hang out with him after school today?" Hanbin asks. Hao freezes for a second before shaking his head
"I'll just text him. We can always hang out another day"
"But-"
"Got to go, Hanbin! Bye!" Hao interrupts the younger, waving a quick goodbye before starting to run again. Matthew won't get mad, right? I mean, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity!
When Hao reaches the school gate, Jun is already waiting there, leaning against the wall with a casual demeanor
"Hey, you made it!" Jun greets him with a light smile, his eyes lighting up at the sight of Hao.
