In an office building, on one of the top floors, the chief of police had called a meeting. Desks were filled with rows of police officers and at the front of the room stood All Might, Endeavor, Best Jeanist, Edgeshot, Gang Orca, Kamui Woods, Mt. Lady and Tiger.
"We have gathered some of our finest heroes here today. Now, let us begin our strategy meeting."
What they were planning would lead to unimaginable results.
. . Shigaraki Hideout . .
"I'll ask you one more time, aspiring hero, Bakugo Katsuki. Will you join me?" Shigaraki asked as the rest of the league members lounged about in the bar.
"If you're gonna talk about your dreams, you should just go to sleep and die." Bakugo retaliated.
You were currently pretending to be asleep on his shoulder, observing the conversation while trying to come with an escape plan. With both of you still stuck in this very awkward pose, you weren't coming up with any good ideas, your mind consumed with thoughts of Bakugo.
'Stop thinking about weird stuff! If I could just sit by myself, I could come up with something good...' You scolded yourself every time you thought of kissing him, hugging him, cuddling him or whenever you wondered what he would be like as a boyfriend.
You knew your cheeks were red without having to see them.
"Do you really think the heroes care about you? That Y/n will somehow save you? She used to be a villain before she met All Might. Do you wanna hear about the things she did for her father?" Shigaraki taunted.
Bakugo felt you slightly tense up in his arms yet he kept his face the same.
"What if she hurt people? Would that change the way you think of her?" Shigaraki grinned from ear to ear like a child. This was a game to him.
"No, it doesn't matter what she did." Bakugo said. The longer their conversation went on the more anxious you got, all the hormonal thoughts of Bakugo faded away.
"You're confident." Eiji blurted out to himself.
"What if I were to tell you that she's killed people before? Innocent people, pedestrians who did nothing wrong except find themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time."
Bakugo's eyes went wide for a moment. He didn't want to believe what Shigaraki was saying and he had no way of asking you at the moment.
"Looks like it would matter." Shigaraki laughed while a couple others snickered to themselves.
"I've seen her kill a man simply because he saw her stealing weapons." Eiji added to the conversation.
"Oh, yes! Let's not forget about the time you, her and Daichi tortured that one¨¨¨¨ guy for hours because our fathers needed some information." Shigaraki reminisced at the memories.
"Or when we killed a whole gang because they moved on our grounds."
Their laughs filled the room. They spoke as two old friends reuniting after being apart for years.
"Enough..." Bakugo grumbled in low voice.
"Hm? What was that?" Shigaraki teased.
"I said ENOUGH!" This time Bakugo yelled and all eyes landed on him. Your head instinctively shot up slightly at his tone of voice.
"I don't care what she did in the past. She's not that person anymore!"
"Then why doesn't she just go and outright say that she's a hero now? If she truly wasn't the same, she wouldn't fight the good in her as hard as she is. Y/n knows the freedom that comes with being a villain and the restrictions of being a hero. She might not know it yet, but she's already made her choice, isn't that right, Y/n?"
