Confusion || Todoroki vs Bakugo x Reader

~Ten~

You woke up in your bed with lots of pain everywhere. Just yesterday the USJ was attacked but school was starting at 8am like normal. 

"You should stay home and rest today. You're still covered in bandages." Kamui told you while Hawks brushed your hair.

"I'm not taking the day off." 

"Why not? You don't even like U.A or Heroes." Hawks said.

"Because if I had worked harder Aizawa would be here and not in a hospital bed. I might not wanna be a hero but I wanna protect those I care for." 

They both smiled slightly and Kamui was about to walk off.

"If you're going then at least eat breakfast first." He said while making his way into the kitchen. 

"Alright lets do something fun with you hair." Hawks said and started styling it despite you trying to stop him. 

He ended up putting it in a half up, half down style with one braid on each side of the ponytail.

"You look pretty like that." Kamui said as the two of you entered the kitchen. 

You just sighed and ignored him. You struggled into your new uniform with casts and bandages everywhere. Since you were always breaking the dress code by wearing shorts instead of the skirt and a hoodie instead of jacket, the school made you a custom uniform. Black shorts, white button up and a red tie, a grey zip up hoodie with the school logo on it, black thigh high socks and lastly your own black n white sneakers. You ate breakfast and made your way out the door. 

When you got to class, everyone was talking about the news and the amount of screen time the students had gotten. 

"Those news channels love us, we're basically celebrities." Kaminari said.

"Yeah it's kinda crazy right?" Kirishima said.

"Get over yourselves. The hero course that pumps out pros got attacked and that's what they care about." Jiro said.

"Hey y/n isn't all this publicity kinda cool?" Kaminari asked you as soon as he noticed you walk in.

"Um I don't know." 

"Come on. She's used to this kind of thing." Kirishima said and punched him on the arm.

"Right, besides who knows what would have happened if the teachers hadn't showed up." Sero said.

"DON'T SAY THAT! I'M GONNA PEE MYSELF JUST THINKING ABOUT IT!" Mineta started yelling and freaking out. 

"AH SHUT UP! Grow a pair loser!" Bakugo yelled at him. He then looked over at you and opened his mouth then quickly closed it again. 

"How are your wounds y/n?" Mina jumped up behind you and put her hands on your shoulders.

"I'm fine. It'll heal."

"You got bandages all over tho and how long are you going to look like that?" She pouted.

"Only until I heal." You shrugged.

"You should've stayed home scarface." Bakugo mumbled while looking away.

"Aw do you care about her?" She asked him while leaning on his desk.

"AS IF I'D CARE FOR A LOSER LIKE HER!" He yelled back at her. 

"If you're worried about her you should just say so you know." She said while waving her hand in the air.

"AND WHY THE HELL DO YOU- " He started yelling but was cut off by some laughter. 

He looked over to see you laughing. You had been so caught up with thinking about Aizawa and blaming yourself that you honestly felt calmed down by your hectic classmates. You notice how the classroom got quiet and all the students stared at you.
