Chapter 8: The first Mission

ISO's POV

As we gathered in the briefing room, the weight of our first mission together with seeker is pressed down on my shoulders like a heavy burden . My gaze swept over my teammates.

Sage stood tall and resolute, her steady presence a beacon of reassurance amidst the swirling uncertainty.

Reyna, fellow duelists who are also the leader of this mission, exuded a quiet confidence, her eyes gleaming with confidence.

And Brimstone who will be the controller of our team, who is also a veteran agent to be our guide and seeker's Father.

But it was Seeker who captured my attention the most. Her carefree grin and radiant energy seemed to light up the room, a stark contrast to the gravity of our mission. Despite my reservations about her unpredictable nature, I couldn't help but feel a flicker of admiration for her unwavering spirit.

As the briefing began, I listened intently to the details of our mission. Our objective: to secure a vital shipment of Radianite on the Sunset map. It was a task that would require precision, strategy, and above all, teamwork.

My mind raced with potential strategies to share it with others, each one more elaborate than the last. But as the briefing drew to a close, I knew that success would ultimately hinge on our ability to work together as a cohesive unit.

As we prepared to depart, I exchanged a nod with Sage, silently acknowledging the trust and camaraderie that bound us together. With a final glance at my teammates, I stepped out onto the battlefield, and be ready for anything that will happen.

As the team approached the Sunset map, tension hung thick in the air, mingling with the faint scent of smoke from Brimstone's canisters. We moved with purpose, each step bringing us closer to our objective: securing the shipment of Radianite.

Seeker took point, her keen eyes scanning the area for any signs of enemy activity. Reyna flanked through Mid to Site B, ready to unleash her power at a moment's notice. Sage and I followed closely behind to seeker as she seek to any enemy on the sorrounding, our roles as Sentinel and Duelist clear in our minds.

As we reached the site, Sage signaled for us to halt, her hand held up in a silent command. We crouched low behind cover, our breaths shallow with anticipation.

With a nod from Reyna's command to comms that she reach her Position to guard any  enemy that rotate, Brimstone unleashed a volley of smoke canisters, obscuring the area in a thick haze. The enemy's vision was compromised, their movements hampered by the dense fog.

It was our moment to strike.

Seeker uses her skill her Radiant Vision

Radiant Vision (Signature Ability):** Seeker can activate her Radiant Vision, allowing her to see through walls and obstacles within a certain range for a short duration. This ability provides valuable intel on enemy positions and movements, allowing the team to plan their strategy effectively.

I enter the sight with Reyna on the flanked side we both manage to take down most of the enemy and sage manages to plant the spike.  

Now we wait for it to be demoted, so the enemy  before they can take it down - we all place ourselves in defense mode. Waiting for the other enemy to defused the spike .. Brimstone with sage defended the possible flanked while me and seeker are still inside the site for any potential rush push  while Reyna was still hunting/flanking out the two..

As the enemy scrambled to regain control of the situation, the team fought with all their might to defend the spike. Bullets flew, grenades exploded, and chaos reigned supreme. But through it all, we remained steadfast in their determination.

With Seeker's disruptive pulse disabling enemy abilities and gadgets, and my precise aim picking off opponents one by one, the tide of the battle began to turn in our favor. And as the dust settled and the smoke cleared, we emerged victorious, the spike was demoted and we won..

our success was a testament to the power of teamwork and the strength of our resolve. And as we now celebrated our hard-fought victory, we knew that no challenge would be too great as long as they faced it together, as a team.
