Chapter 18: Captivated

ISO's POV

As we gathered outside Seeker's room to invite her to join us for a day of fun at the court or park, I couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation. But as the door swung open, revealing a sight that took my breath away, I found myself momentarily speechless.

Seeker stood before us, her hair cascading in loose waves around her shoulders, her oversized shirt and shorts giving her a casual yet undeniably alluring look. In that moment, she seemed to glow with an inner beauty that captivated us all.

Me: *Caught off guard by the sudden attention* "Uh, yeah, she looks great. Really... um, stunning."

Jett: *Giggle mischievously* "Aww, looks like ISO's got a crush!"

Seeker: *Playfully nudges me* "Come on, ISO, let's go already. We've got fun to have."

Me: *Blushing furiously* "Right, yeah. Let's go."

But Seeker, ever the master of composure, simply rolled her eyes at her friends' antics, a hint of amusement dancing in her gaze. Despite their teasing, she maintained her cool demeanor, brushing off their compliments with a nonchalant shrug.

I couldn't help but admire her confidence and grace, even in the face of such blatant admiration. It was just another reminder of the many qualities that made Seeker so special, and I couldn't help but feel a swell of affection for her as we prepared to embark on our day of fun together.

As we set off for our day of fun, Seeker's radiant smile lighting up the room, I couldn't shake the feeling that this day would be one to remember. "Come on, ISO, is that the best you've got?" Gekko teased, dribbling past me with ease.

I shot him a mock glare. "Just you wait, Gekko. I'm just getting warmed up."

As the game wound down and we caught our breath, the teasing and banter between the teams only intensified.

"Nice try, Yoru, but you can't outmaneuver me that easily!" Jett crowned, her competitive spirit shining through as she playfully ribbed our opponents.

Yoru shot her a mock glare. "Oh, please. You got lucky this time, but just you wait until the rematch."

Meanwhile, Neon couldn't resist teasing Seeker, who was still glowing from her impressive plays. "Looks like ISO's got some competition, huh? Better watch out, buddy."

I rolled my eyes, but couldn't hide the smile that tugged at my lips. "Yeah, yeah, laugh it up. We'll see who's laughing after the next game."

Seeker just grinned, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "Bring it on, ISO. I'm ready for anything.".

As the game came to an end and the sun began its slow descent towards the horizon, we gathered on the sidelines to catch our breath and admire the breathtaking sunset.

The sky was painted in hues of orange, pink, and gold, casting a warm glow over everything it touched.

I found myself drawn to Seeker, who stood at the edge of the court, her gaze fixed on the horizon.
