As the news of Brimstone's injury sank in, a cold knot of dread formed in the pit of my stomach. My father, the man I had clashed with, the man I had yet to reconcile with, was now lying in a coma, his life hanging in the balance.

I felt a wave of dizziness wash over me, the room spinning as if it couldn't decide which way was up. I stumbled, my legs suddenly feeling like they were made of lead, unable to support the weight of the crushing despair that threatened to engulf me.

Just as I felt myself starting to fall, a strong arm wrapped around my waist, steadying me and pulling me back from the brink. I looked up to see Iso's concerned face, his eyes filled with worry and compassion.

"Hey, hey, it's okay," he murmured softly, his voice a soothing balm against the chaos of my thoughts. "I've got you. We've got you."

His words were like an anchor, grounding me in the present moment and reminding me that I wasn't alone. Around me, the rest of the team had gathered, their faces etched with concern as they offered words of encouragement and support.

"You've got this, Seeker," Jett said, her voice firm and unwavering. "We're all here for you."

I took a shaky breath, the weight of the situation still heavy on my shoulder, a  wave of guilt crashed down, drowning out everything else. Anguish twisted in my gut, and I felt a searing anger directed inward, consuming me from the inside out.

"I should have been there," I muttered, my voice choked with emotion. "I should have protected him."

The world around me blurred, my vision clouded by tears that I refused to shed. I felt isolated, as if I were trapped in a bubble of self-loathing, unable to reach out to the hands that were extended in support.

Iso's arm around my waist felt like an intrusion, a reminder of my own weakness and failure. I pushed against him, trying to break free from his grasp, but he held on firmly, refusing to let me slip away.

"We're here for you, Seeker," his voice was a distant echo, barely registering in my ears. "You're not alone."

But I couldn't hear him, couldn't see beyond the suffocating fog of my own guilt. The weight of it pressed down on me, threatening to crush me beneath its relentless force.

In that moment, I felt utterly lost, consumed by the darkness that threatened to swallow me whole. And as I struggled to find my footing in the midst of the storm raging inside me, I knew that the road ahead would be long and treacherous, filled with obstacles I could never hope to overcome alone.

"I will seek revenge" I say

ISO's POV

As I watched Seeker's transformation unfold before my eyes, a chill ran down my spine. Her usually bright and lively eyes had taken on a new intensity, a cold, calculating gleam that sent shivers down my spine.

It was as if a switch had been flipped, and the carefree girl I knew was replaced by someone else entirely—a force to be reckoned with, driven by a fierce determination that bordered on obsession.

I had seen glimpses of this side of her before, in the heat of battle when her radiant power surged to the surface. But this was different. This was personal. This was revenge.

As Seeker's words echoed in the air, a heavy silence descended over the room, broken only by the sound of her steady breathing. Her voice was low and menacing, filled with a promise of retribution that sent a shiver down my spine.

I knew then that Seeker was not someone to be trifled with, that her anger was a force to be reckoned with. And as I looked around at the rest of the team, I could see the same realization dawning on their faces—a mixture of shock, fear, and awe.

Neon's eyes widened in disbelief, her hand instinctively reaching for the weapon at her side. Jett's expression hardened, her jaw set in determination as she prepared for whatever was to come. Skye exchanged a worried glance with Sage, silently communicating their shared concern for their teammate.

But it was my reaction that caught everyone's attention. My gaze never wavered from Seeker, my expression unreadable as I watched her with a mixture of apprehension and resignation. I had seen this side of her before, and had felt the weight of her fury firsthand. And yet, even I seemed taken aback by the sheer intensity of her resolve.

In that moment, I knew that we were all in for a rough ride. Seeker's thirst for revenge was like a wildfire, burning hot and fierce, threatening to consume everything in its path. And as we braced ourselves for the storm that was to come, I couldn't help but wonder if any of us would emerge unscathed.
