ISO's POV
As days passed, I found myself unable to shake the growing realization that my feelings towards Seeker were evolving into something deeper than mere partnership. Her infectious energy, her unwavering determination, her captivating smile-all of it seemed to draw me in, leaving me longing for more.
At first, I tried to ignore these feelings, to bury them beneath the facade of professionalism. But as time went on, I couldn't deny the truth any longer-I was falling for Seeker, and there was no turning back.
My friends, ever perceptive, were quick to pick up on the shift in my behavior. Yoru would smirk knowingly whenever he caught me stealing glances at Seeker, while Phoenix would tease me mercilessly about my newfound infatuation.
But it was Gekko who approached me with genuine concern, his calm demeanor a stark contrast to my inner turmoil. "Are you alright, Iso?" he asked, his voice gentle. "You seem...distracted lately."
I tried to brush off his concern with a nonchalant shrug, but Gekko wasn't so easily fooled. "It's Seeker, isn't it?" he said, his gaze piercing. "You've developed feelings for her."
I felt a flush of embarrassment rise to my cheeks, but I couldn't deny the truth of his words. "I...I think so," I admitted, feeling vulnerable in a way I hadn't anticipated.
Gekko offered me a reassuring smile, his eyes filled with understanding. "It's okay, Iso," he said. "Love is a complicated thing, but it's nothing to be ashamed of."
And as I grappled with the realization of my growing feelings towards Seeker, I couldn't help but feel a sense of relief wash over me. Perhaps, I thought, with the support of my friends, I could find the courage to confront my feelings and take the next step towards happiness.

As I sat with my friends in the cafeteria, my gaze involuntarily drifting towards Seeker and the girls' table, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched. Yoru, Phoenix, and Gekko exchanged knowing glances, smirks playing on their lips as they caught me in the act.
"What's got you so captivated, Iso?" Yoru teased, waggling his eyebrows suggestively.
I felt a flush of embarrassment rise to my cheeks as I tried to deflect their attention. "Nothing," I muttered, hoping to brush off their teasing.
But Phoenix wasn't about to let me off the hook that easily. "Come on, Iso," he chimed in, his grin widening. "We all know you've got a soft spot for Seeker. Don't try to deny it."
Gekko, ever the voice of reason, offered me a reassuring smile. "There's no shame in admiring someone, Iso," he said. "Especially someone as remarkable as Seeker."
I tried to protest, to insist that they were reading too much into things, but deep down, I knew they were right. My feelings for Seeker were no secret, at least not to my friends.
And as I watched her laugh and chat with the other girls, her smile lighting up the room, I couldn't help but feel a warmth spread through my chest. Maybe, just maybe, there was hope for me yet.
As my friends continued their teasing, I felt a surge of determination welling up inside me. Taking a deep breath, I squared my shoulders and met their eyes with a newfound resolve.
"I have something to confess," I said, my voice steady despite the butterflies fluttering in my stomach. "I...I'm in love with Seeker."
There was a moment of stunned silence at the table, broken only by the soft clinking of utensils and the murmur of conversation from nearby tables. Then, Yoru let out a low whistle, while Phoenix grinned from ear to ear.
"Glad you finally admitted it, Iso," he said, clapping me on the back in a show of support.
Gekko offered me a reassuring smile. "It takes courage to be vulnerable, Iso," he said. "But I believe in you."
As the reality of my confession sunk in, I felt a weight lift off my shoulders, replaced by a sense of liberation and hope. For the first time, I had spoken my truth, and it felt like a step in the right direction.
But before I could dwell on the implications of my confession, I quickly added, "Please, keep this between us for now. I...I want to gather the courage to confess to Seeker myself."
My friends nodded in understanding, their expressions filled with solidarity and support. "Of course, Iso," Yoru said, his tone earnest. "We've got your back."
With their encouragement ringing in my ears, I knew that I was ready to take the next step-to muster the courage to confess my feelings to the girl who had captured my heart. And as I prepared to face the unknown, I couldn't help but feel a flicker of excitement at the prospect of what lay ahead.

As the protocol meeting progressed, Seeker's sudden sneeze caught everyone off guard, its unexpected cuteness eliciting a chorus of amused chuckles from the team. Without a second thought, my automatic response slipped out, "Bless you."
Instantly, the room erupted into playful teasing and laughter, causing Seeker to blush furiously in embarrassment. I couldn't help but grin at the sight, finding her flustered reaction utterly endearing.
As the playful banter continued, I couldn't tear my gaze away from Seeker, her cheeks flushed pink as she tried to hide her embarrassment. Despite her attempts to compose herself, the mischievous glint in my eyes must have given me away-I was thoroughly enjoying the moment.
Even as the meeting resumed and the laughter died down, I couldn't shake the warmth that spread through my chest at the sight of Seeker's adorable flustered expression. And as I stole another glance at her, I silently vowed to find more ways to make her smile like that in the future.
