ISO's POV
As the rest of the team headed back to the place to check out the others, leaving Seeker and me alone in the quiet corridor, I couldn't help but notice the exhaustion etched into every line of her face. Her usually vibrant energy seemed to have dimmed, replaced by a weariness that weighed heavily on her shoulders.
Without hesitation, I offered her a ride, knowing that she was in no condition to walk on her own. "Hey, why don't you let me give you a piggyback ride?" I suggested, my voice gentle as I reached out a hand to her.
Seeker's eyes brightened at the offer, a grateful smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "Thanks, Iso," she murmured, her voice soft with fatigue. "I don't think I have the energy to walk right now."
With that, she climbed onto my back, her arms wrapping around my neck as I hoisted her up. As we began to walk, I felt the weight of her body against mine, a comforting presence amidst the quiet stillness of the corridor.
But as we walked, I couldn't help but sense the heaviness in Seeker's heart. The tears that welled up in her eyes told a story of pain and sadness, hidden beneath her carefree exterior.
Without a word, I let her cry, allowing her the space to let out all the emotions she had been holding in. And as she buried her face against my back, her sobs echoing in the empty corridor, I knew that sometimes, the greatest comfort we can offer is simply being there to listen.
As we made our way back to headquarters, the weight of Seeker's exhaustion seemed to grow heavier with each step. Her grip around my neck tightened, and I could feel the tension in her body as she leaned against me for support.
The corridor stretched out before us, silent and empty, the only sound the soft echo of our footsteps against the polished floor. In the stillness, the weight of unspoken words hung heavy in the air, a silent reminder of the pain and turmoil that lingered beneath the surface.
But despite the heaviness of the moment, there was a sense of solace in the quiet companionship between us. As Seeker cried silently against my back, I offered her the only comfort I could—the steady rhythm of my footsteps, the warmth of my presence beside her.
With each passing moment, the distance between us and the celebration grew, the noise and laughter fading into the background as we retreated into our own world of shared silence. And as the lights of headquarters came into view, I felt a sense of relief wash over me.
We had made it through the darkness together, our bond strengthened by the trials we had faced. And as we stepped through the doors of headquarters, I knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, we would face them together, as partners, as friends.

As we walked, Seeker's tears continued to fall, each one a silent testament to the pain she carried within her. I could feel the weight of her sorrow pressing against my back, a heavy burden that she had been carrying alone for far too long.
With a gentle touch, I reached up to pat her hand, offering what little comfort I could. "You don't have to carry this burden alone," I murmured softly, my voice barely above a whisper. "I'm here for you, Seeker. Whatever you need, I'm here."
Seeker's sobs began to subside, replaced by a quiet sniffle as she spoke, her voice trembling with emotion. "It's just... it's been so hard," she admitted, her words choked with tears. "Ever since my mother died, I've felt so alone. I didn't know how to deal with my grief, so I buried it deep down inside me."
As she spoke, Seeker opened up about the pain she had endured, the loneliness and isolation she had felt in the aftermath of her mother's death. She spoke of the sleepless nights spent grappling with her grief, the overwhelming sense of emptiness that had consumed her.
But amidst the darkness, there was a glimmer of light—a spark of hope that had emerged from the depths of her despair. "It was on the night my mother died that I first discovered my radiant power," she confessed, her voice filled with wonder. "It was like a gift from the heavens, a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is still beauty and magic in the world."
As Seeker poured out her heart to me, I listened in silence, offering her the space to share her pain and her triumphs. And as the lights of headquarters drew nearer, I knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, we would face them together, united by the bond of friendship and the strength of our shared experiences.

As I gently carried Seeker to her dorm room, her body heavy with exhaustion, I couldn't help but feel a surge of protectiveness wash over me. She had been through so much, and yet she had faced it all with courage and resilience.
Carefully laying her down on the bed, I tucked the blanket around her, ensuring she was comfortable before bending down to kiss her forehead softly. "Sleep well, Seeker," I whispered, my voice barely above a whisper. "I'll be right here if you need me."
Seeker stirred slightly, her eyelashes fluttering against her cheeks as she mumbled in her sleep. "Iso...," she murmured, her voice soft and sleepy.
I smiled tenderly, brushing a stray lock of hair away from her face. "I'm here," I assured her, my voice filled with warmth. "I'll always be here for you, no matter what."
With one last lingering look, I turned to leave, the weight of my promise heavy in my heart. But as I reached the doorway, a small voice called out behind me.
"Iso?"
I turned back to see Seeker gazing up at me, her eyes still heavy with sleep but filled with a quiet vulnerability. "Thank you," she whispered, her voice barely audible.
I felt a lump form in my throat as I looked into her eyes, seeing the trust and gratitude reflected in their depths. "Anytime, Seeker," I replied softly, my heart swelling with emotion. "Anytime."
