Amari packed up all of her belongings, making sure to leave nothing behind.

She was on her way to find Tyrone.

It hadn't occurred to her she could've gotten in trouble for leaving class.

Tyrone was found wandering around the halls on his way back from the bathroom.

He'd been out there lurking for a while.

"You." Amari pointed to Tyrone "Come here."

She used her index finger to call him over.

As soon as Tyrone stepped close enough to her, Amari pushed him up against the set of lockers nearby.

"You a street nigga now?" Amari held him tightly by his shirt.

"Huh?" Tyrone pretended to not know what she was talking about "Come again."

Amari pressed him back against the locker, interrogating him more.

She called him out for lying to her for so long.

"You working with Miko, I know you is." Amari had no clue she was being too loud.

"That's why you ain't want me talking to him. Cus y'all gang and shit!" she yelled.

Tyrone could do nothing but laugh at how angry it made Amari.

He wasn't laughing because he enjoyed pissing her off.

He laughed because he liked the way she looked when she was angry.

"How you come to that conclusion?" he asked.

Amari gave him the whole run down about what Miko told her last night.

"Long story short, we was chilling last night and he told me about himself." she spoke.

Tyrone licked his lips "And? Fuck that gotta do with me."

Amari squinted. "Nigga."

"You got shot, you know Miko. Either you working with him or against him."

Tyrone scoffed.

"It's complicated, I ain't talkin bout it here." Tyrone grabbed ahold of Amari.

She quickly pulled away.

"And you had the nerves to by me a fucking car?!" her voice was risen again.

Amari was pacing back and forth with her hands on top her head.

"I cannot believe you." she hit him in his arm.

Tyrone waited for her to calm down, but she didn't.

She was way to upset at the moment to even think about being calm.

"A street nigga? Really Tyrone?" Amari shook her head at him.

He told her to keep her voice down.

Classes were about to start switching.

Both of them should've been in class, but they were too busy going back and forth in the hallway.

Amari had one more question that needed to be answered.

She felt she was obligated to know.

"You selling drugs?" she asked.

Tyrone told her he wasn't discussing it there.

He wanted to go somewhere private.

"Fuck privacy, you had enough of that." she jabbed her finger into his chest "We gone talk right here!"
