DAISY

'Too tacky' I say to the Versace dress on a hanger that David shows me.

Today is the day of the gala. Have I found the dress I am to wear to the event? Nope, I haven't.

At this moment, I'm going over some dresses my mums stylists picked out for me. So far they are not so good.

I groan. This is the worst. The one time I finally had ease picking out a dress and it's bided off for ten times the actual amount. The odds are not in my favour.

'What about this? It's Sau Lee'

I like the dress. It's sophisticated. Even though It's not the same dress as the Georges hobeika, it's still pretty.

Better than all the other dresses that David showed me.

'I like it..'
David lets out the built up breath he's been holding in.
'Thank god, I thought you would never chose anything'
'I'm not that difficult' I say, running my hands down the fabric of the dress.
'You always were a joker' David replies back with sarcasm. I roll my eyes in return.

Meanwhile David shows me all my shoe options to wear under the dress, a quick knock on the door makes both of us wonder who it could be.
'It is probably the makeup artist' David says, placing the recent heels he showed me inside its box.

I open the door, surprise fills me when it isn't a makeup artist standing in-front of me. It's a man holding a covered up dress. My eyebrow raises with confusion.
'David, did you forget to bring any dresses?'
David creeps up from behind me. His expression also in absolute confusion.
'Darling no. I already brought all the dresses your mother asked me to show you'

So what on earth is this?

Why is there a dress delivery at my door?

I look at the man who's patiently waiting for me to just take the dress off his hands already.
I nod at David to collect the dress from the man and take it inside so that I could sign the paper for the delivery.

'Oh.....my.....god!' David's voice echos from behind me as I finish signing the paper. Now I'm even more curious.

Once I close the door behind me and walk inside the living room I see what made David shout in shock.

It's...it's the George's hobeika dress.

But how? They said it was sold to someone else...

'Why didn't you tell me that you already got a dress?! And it's Georges hobeika!' David is practically screaming in excitement. 'I didn't know I bought it' I say. My voice low. I'm still trying to understand how I'm face to face with this dress. 'What do you mean you didn't buy it? It's right in front of you' David laughs. He thinks I'm being sarcastic.

'Daisy, I am shocked! How the hell did you get your hands on this dress? I mean I know you're able to get anything, but this dress is out of words'
I stay quiet. My gaze still fixated on the dress.

My phone vibrates in my pocket, making my snap out from staring at the hypnotising dress.

Hope to see you in it tonight ;)

Jax....

My heart starts to beat in a crazy rhythm.
