Xia stood on the platform by the console. Silver and Toya kept a safe distance back, spinning their knives to keep Shoto and I from not looking at each other.
"Now then, first question...Jade. I already know the answer to this, but I need to ask. If the gun was loaded when Barbra pointed it at us, and you didn't do what you did...who do you think he would you have saved, you or me?" Xia asked.
"You...I thought he'd save you, Xia." I said, weakly, closing my eyes.
"You really underestimate your value Jade, it's sad, truly. You're too good for this world." Xia asked, and I exhaled.
"Shoto...who would you have chosen her or me?" Xia asked.
He looked at me. "You...it's always been you Jade." Shoto said, tearing up.
"You actually told the truth...I'm shocked." Xia said.
I smiled weakly. "Next question, Jade...do you trust him?" Xia asked.
"With my life." I said, weakly and he smiled at me...Gods I missed his smile.
"Do you trust her, Shoto?" Xia asked.
"100% hands down, yes." Shoto said, and I smiled at him.
"2 for 2 Shoto...it's touching, really." Xia said.
"Now, Jade have you ever kept secrets from Shoto?" Xia asked.
"Yes, but only because I thought I was protecting him." I said.
Xia smiled. "I'm not surprised, selfless girl. Now, Shoto...have you ever kept secrets from Jade." Xia asked.
Shoto gasped and looked at me. "Oh, your heart rate just sky rocketed." Xia said.
"I..." Shoto began.
"Answer the question." Xia siad.
"No." Shoto said, and then she hit a button.

"YES, YES, YES! I have! I've kept secrets! Now stop!" Shoto begged.
I gasped, crying in pain. "See, it's not that hard to tell the truth." Xia said.
I panted, breathing heavily. "Next question, Jade...have you ever lied to Shoto." Xia asked.
"No." I said.
Xia nodded. "No surprise there, now Shoto have you ever lied to Jade?" Xia asked.
"Yes." Shoto said.
Xia nodded. "Good, see? Now, you're getting the point of the game. Next question, Jade have you ever had a crush on our little half-and-half boy?" Xia asked.
"Yes, I still do." I said, and Shoto gasped.
"Aww...even after everything. You really do have a heart of gold for all the Hell you've been through." Xia said. "Shoto...did you ever have a crush on Jadey-Wadey-Kinz sitting across from you. Speak wisely." Xia said.
"No." Shoto said, and then...she pressed the button.

"YES! OK! YES I HAVE!" Shoto yelled, blushing and the electricity stopped.
I panted and breathed heavily, crying. "You are a piece of shit." Toya said, to Shoto.
"At least I don't torture 16 year old girls." Shoto said, and Xia touched the button.

"STOP! STOP! I DIDN'T MEAN IT! HE'S MY BROTHER, ITS HABIT TO SNARK BACK!" Shoto yelled, and Xia turned the electricity off.
I breathed hard, crying. Toya gripped Shoto's hair and lifted him up, the knife to his throat.
"No! NO! NOO!" I sobbed.
"You see it yet Shoto? She can't take much more of this. This is where lying gets you." Toya said, cutting Shoto's chin.
Shoto breathed out, blood dripping from his chin now. "Next question, let's see how well you know each other." Xia said, and I gulped.
"Jade...what are Shoto's favorite colors." Xia asked.
"Ice blue, white, red, black, and purple." I said.
"Shoto?" Xia asked.
"Yeah, that's right." Shoto said.
"Now Shoto...what are Jade's favorite colors?" Xia asked.
"Green, black, and teal." Shoto said.
"Jade?" Xia asked.
"That's exactly right." I said, smiling at him weakly...but I was on the verge of passing out.
"Jade...what's Shoto's absolute favorite animal. Like end of the world, had to pick one animal." Xia asked.
"Arctic Wolf." I said.
"Shoto?" Xia asked.
"How'd you know that?" Shoto asked.
I smiled. "It's what Blizzard is." I said, to my surprise...Xia didn't electrocute either of us for talking.
"Shoto, what's Jade's absolute favorite animal. Same circumstances." Xia asked.
"Penguin, although she'd save them all if she could." Shoto said.
"Jade?" Xia asked.
I smiled at him. "Yeah...he's right." I said.
"What's Shoto's favorite tea?" Xia asked.
"White Tangerine Pu Erh Spice Spearmint Hibiscus, and he prefers it hot." I said.
"Yeah...wow." Shoto said.
"What's Jade's preferred beverage?" Xia asked.
"She prefers Green Tea with Ginseng and Honey, and she prefers it refrigerated." Shoto said.
I chuckled. "Down to the letter." I said.
"Ok wow...you two really know each other. This is getting too lovey-dovey to me. So, let's get down to the juicy stuff." Xia said, smiling darkly.
Hanta-
Jax held me in his arms as we he me to the medical tent in Arcadia since the hut was destroyed. "Lay him down!" Luna shouted, and Jax laid me down as I panted, my body covered in poison.
"We have to drain the poison out of his body and then we need to do a blood transfusion ASAP." TC said.
I gripped my heart, panting in puffs, fading in and out of consciousness with one eye closed. "Hanta! Hanta look at me, you cannot die." Daeva said, gripping my cheeks.
I smiled and chuckled weakly. "This is gonna hurt like hell." TC said, grabbing a suction tube and stabbing the needle into my arm.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!" I screamed out, as Daeva held my hand, and I looked at her, holding her hand, not taking my eyes off of her as all of the purple was sucked from my body.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!" "It's all drained now." Lilith shouted.
"Look at me baby, look at me." Daeva whispered, holding my hand.
I blinked a few times, smiled, and then I fell unconscious.
