Episode 93: Pain of the Past

  Barbra-
  I was watching Xia continue to build the bomb when Slade walked in.
  "Toya won't shut the fuck up Barbra, he wants to talk to you." Slade said.
  I sighed. "Keep an eye on her, I'll go see what our needy prince wants." I said.
  "Sure." Slade said.
  I walked to the dungeons. "'Bout fucking time." Toya said.
  "What is it you annoying little shit stain?" I asked.
  "I demand you let me see Xia, NOW!" Toya yelled.
  "Oh?" I asked.
  "I just...I need to see her. Please." Toya begged, genuinely.
  I took a deep breath. "Very well, but you have to promise me no funny business or I'll detonate her little brother's head first." I said.
  "No funny business, I promise. I just have to see her." Toya said.
  "1 hour...you get 1 hour and then it's back here." I said.
  "I understand." Toya said.
  I sighed and cuffed his hands in front of him as the chains around his ankles clanked, and I marched him down, down, down, all the way down into the catacombs. "1 hour Toya." I said, putting him in the proper PPE and shoving him into the room.
  "That better be my water Barbra." Xia said, irritably.
  "XIA!" He yelled, running in and sliding to her.

  Xia-
  I was coughing and vomited again, pushing the back of my bloodied hand into my forehead. "Fuck." I whispered, as the door opened.
  I kept working on the bomb, not even looking up. "That better be my water Barbra." I said, irritably.
  "XIA!" Toya yelled, running in and sliding to me.
  I looked up so quickly as he wrapped his arms around me. "Toya! What the...you shouldn't be in here!" I yelled, shocked.
  He gripped my cheeks and moved around my head gently. "Are you ok? Did they hurt you?" Toya asked, genuinely worried.
  I touched the hazmat suit helmet, the chains around my wrist clanking. I pushed my forehead into his helmet. "They're not hurting me, I promise baby." I said.
  "You look awful." Toya said.
  I chuckled through tears as I held his gloved hand to my cheek. "Radiation poisoning will do that to you." I said.
  "Grr!" He growled, looking back at the room Barbra was in with a fiery hatred.
  "Toya...it's fine, I'm fine. Barbra...made me extremely tolerant to heavy radiation." I said, sweating and looking sickly and pale.
  "Please tell me your brother doesn't know you well enough to say you made another deal with Barbra." Toya said.
  I smiled softly. "I had to, otherwise she was gonna kill all of you after I finished the bomb. I know this bitch's mind better than anyone. I had to Toya, to save all of you." I said, tearing up.
  "No Xia, no!" Toya exclaimed.
  "Your hour is up Romeo." Barbra said, coming in and pulling him from me.
  "Xia! Xia!! XIAAAAAAA!!!" Toya screamed, reaching for me as they dragged him away.
  I bit my quivering lip and closed my eyes as a tear rolled off of my cheek. "I'm so sorry Toya." I thought, sniffling.

  Toya-
  "I SWEAR WHEN THIS IS ALL OVER, I WILL FIND A WAY TO KILL YOU!" I yelled, as Barbra walked away and the guards put me back in the cell.
  "AGH!" I roared, angrily.
  "I told you." Silver said.
  I bit my lip. "It's not fair..." I began. "WHY IS SHE SUFFERING WHEN ALL OF US ARE HERE!!!!" I yelled, crying.
  "What did they do?" Tomura asked.
  "They shoved her into the deepest part of the catacombs in a dark chamber, chained up, hidden from any natural lighting, working on a radioactive bomb that's giving her radiation poisoning. They won't even give her a water and it was hot as hell in there!" I yelled, my voice cracking.
  "Those monsters." Jeanette said, clenching her fist.
  "I swear as soon as I get out of here...I'LL BURN THESE ASSHOLES TO ASHES!!" I yelled.

  Xia-
  I was really starting to feel weak and getting sicker with every passing second. "This bomb is giving off way too much heat and radiation. It'll kill me at this rate." I said.
  "Trust me darling, you're fine. You'll survive this, I made sure of it." Barbra said.
  I coughed and vomited again, wiping my mouth and a memory danced across my mind as I continued to work on the bomb.

                               ~Flashback~

  Xia (Age 22)-
  Earth had been destroyed by Enji and the Todoroki Dynasty. Now, all of us were in cryostasis and the Barbra was experimenting and torturing all of us on her ship.
  I was on a table, strapped down, Barbra standing over me. "It's alright darling...you won't even feel a thing." Barbra said, closing my eyes. I blacked out, and when I woke up again, I was still on the table. "Welcome back Xia." Barbra said.
I breathed hard, looking all across the lab trying to see what she did to me. I couldn't speak, I couldn't move. "Shh, shh, shh...it's ok dear, just breathe." Barbra said.
  I took deep breaths and she smiled. "There you go...now then, let me see just how strong you are." Barbra said.
  I looked at her as she sat me up. "XIA!" Toya yelled, chained to the wall.
  "T-T..." I gasped, unable to speak.
  Barbra brushed her fingers through my hair and took off the oxygen mask. "Please let him go." I begged, softly.
  "No Xia!!" Toya yelled, and they electrocuted him.
  "No! No! Stop!!!" I yelled, in tears as Toya panted.
  "You're both going to work for me." Barbra said.
  "Oh like hell we will." Toya said, and they electrocuted him.
  "STOP!" I yelled.
  "How much do you care for this...sorry excuse for a human?" Barbra asked, holding Toya's cheeks in her hand between her fingertips.
  "Go to Hell bitch." I said, but she electrocuted me.
  I screamed out and I saw Toya snap with rage. "Xia!" He yelled.
  I panted. "Very well, now...let's play a little game I like to call Til' Death Do Us Part." Barbra said.
  I looked at Toya and gasped. "Please...don't do this." I said.
  "Too bad." Barbra said, and she started torturing us in front of one another in the most brutal, heinous ways possible.
  She tortured us for a whole year. "Stop! Please stop!" I begged, tortured to hell as Toya breathed heavily.
  "Xia..." he started weakly.
  "I can't take this anymore. Please, I'll do whatever you want...just let him go." I begged.
  "NO XIA!" Toya yelled.
  "Atta girl." Barbra said, snapping as her men came in.
  I looked down and away from Toya ashamed as they took him and put him back in cryostasis without much of a fight.
  "You and your friends are going to work for me, or I will kill you brother and sister. Am I clear?" Barbra asked.
  "Yes." I said, weakly.
  "Good girl. Oh, and, for the record, he wasn't going to do the same for you Xia. He would have just let you get tortured before his eyes, you're too good for him." Barbra said, caressing my cheek.
  I shuttered at her touch and she smiled. "Now then...the real fun can begin." Barbra said, and she started brutally torturing me.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!" I screamed out.

~End Flashback~

Xia (Age 24)-
  I cut myself on scrap metal. "Agh! Shit!" I cried out, and Barbra rushed in, in a hazmat suit, with a sterile cloth and meticulously wrapped it around my hand.
  "You're cruel." I said.
  "I know." Barbra said, and then she looked at me and put her gloved hand on my cheek.
  I shuttered as she held my cheek and then gripped my chin. "I stand by what I said, you're too good for him." Barbra said, letting go and I exhaled breathlessly.
  "Is the bomb almost done?" Barbra asked.
  "Yes." I whispered.
  "Yes what?" Barbra asked.
  "Yes...mistress." I whispered.
  "Good girl." Barbra said, patting my head and walking out.
  I shuttered and cried, gripping my biceps.
