Chapter -15-

A/N: i'm a liar..

i know i said i'm not posting, buuuut, yeah

i've had exams for the last two weeks and now i have projects in all of my classes 😀

Here's a little gift for yall since i'm bored

Chapter -14-

Yeosang's POV

"What injuries does she have?"

I ask Yiren while pacing around the room nervously. We moved Yeri into her room and are watching her to make sure she's fine.

"Her left leg is broken and her thigh on the same leg is badly injured, she won't be able to walk for a while. Her ribs got fractured and her wounds on her stomach are deep, so they're going to hurt her a lot when she wakes up. She's going to be on bedrest for around a week."

She sighs and adds,

"She'll wake up in a few hours, so don't worry too much. She's a strong person."

I give her a small smile and sigh, sitting down on a chair pulled up beside Yeri. I rest my head on my arms, which lay on her bed.

"What do you think Hongjoong is going to do? I know he'll let her recover here, but what's gonna happen after that?"

She shrugs and sits down next to me, gently taking my hand in hers, knowing it calms me down.

"Go ask him right now. He's not heartless, I don't think he's the type of guy to kick someone out after saving their life. And even if he does try to kick her out, I know you can convince him to let her stay."

I smile in gratitude and leave the room, walking towards Hongjoong's room. I knock on the door to receive silence, I crack the door open and it's empty. I walk down the hallway, heading towards Seonghwa's room, seeing if he knows where Hongjoong is. I raise my hand to knock and stop hearing a door creak open behind me. Yunho looks at me with a blank face and says,

"I was about to go look for you."

"Why?"

In response he grabs my hand and pulls me into his room. On the bed sit the person I was trying to find, he looks up from his phone I say,

"Oh, I was looking for you."

"What? Why?"

He asks surprised.

"To talk about Yeri."

He sighs,

"What a coincidence, we both wanted to talk about the same thing."

His voice suddenly turns deadly serious,

"You know she can't stay, right?"

Oh, I thought he would have mixed feelings.

I remain a calm front and say,

"I know, once she recovers, she'll have to leave."

"No, I'm talking about now, she can't stay for her recovery either."

My heart stopped,

What? He won't let her stay? No, no way. No. Way. He can't be serious.

I take a breath to prevent my voice from cracking,

"Why? She needs medical assistance."

"Yunho and I talked it over, and he's right, she's a threat to us all. She could give Yuchan all sorts of information and we wouldn't know. We don't even know where he went, he could've gone to another gang. It's too risky to keep her with us, be happy I'm not going to kill her. She should be dead for knowing so much, she even knows our code names. If she ever choses to join or work under a company again and she hears one of our code names she'll know who we are and where we live. She could easily get us all killed."

"She won't sell out her own team. She wouldn't betray someone she cares for, if you just gave her a chance you would know."

"And how would you know?"

"If you don't trust me, do you want to ask Yiren? If she doesn't know that we're asking to keep Yeri with us, she won't lie. Plus, she's scared of you, she wouldn't want to get on your bad side, so she definitely wouldn't lie to you."

"I said no! She will not be staying with us!"

He grits his teeth from frustration.

"Fine. If you abandon her, I'm leaving with her."

"And how are you going to just 'leave'? You're still under SME, they said we have to stay to 'return the favor.'"

He asks with a lazy smirk on his face, amusement present in his voice. I scoff and think,

Does he think I'm a joke?

"So? You do know I know how to disappear and live a perfectly fine life, right? I'm only here for you guys, I can't make that many people just 'disappear' and live anew."

He rolls his eyes at me and says, uninterested

"Yeosang, I'll track you down if you ever disappear. And if you disappear, so will Yiren, but permanently."

"Don't. You. Dare. If you even think about hurting Yiren, I'll kill you, do you understand?"

He glares at me, each word he says underlined with a threat,

"Yeosang, remember who you're talking to."

I laugh at him and teasingly say,

"And what are you going to do?"

He just laughs, grinning,

"I can easily kick Yiren out. And don't forget, you're trying to convince me to let Yeri stay here, not to kill her."

I take a deep breath to calm myself down and say,

"You have said it before, Yeri is an extremely valuable asset, she's better than me! If you give her a chance and actually include her in the team, she won't do anything that could hurt the team. You were going to give her a chance anyway, all that has changed is you found out her she's related to, that shouldn't make a difference in weather she gets a second chance or not."

A/N: this is a hella short chapter, but i'll try posting another chapter soon

i have two projects i need to finish before tomorrow and i'm kinda stressing 😭😭
