"If it seems like she's hiding something please tell me. I can look into it and see if it's something concerning or not. Also know that I gave her one extra chance, but I will not be giving her another. So if you hide something, it could lead to her being kicked out. It could have been something small, something that if you had told me and I looked into it, she might have not been kicked out."
I nod, thinking,
Should I tell him she's hiding something about her brother?
I decide against it, planning on only telling him if it gets too suspicious.
Chapter -18-
Yeri's POV
Yiren and I exchange looks, then shrug.
"Well, what do you want to do after we eat?"
She smiles and replies,
"We could finally go to the mall. We both can't live on Yeosang's clothes for the rest of our lives."
"Oo! Good idea!"
She laughs at my excitement, continuing to eat.
- 30 minutes later -
"Come on, let's go!"
Yiren says excitedly, jumping up and down, trying to get me to get out of bed. She grabs my hand trying to get me out of bed.
"Okay, okay! Give me my crutches, then we need to go find Yeosang to take us."
She nods, still jumping, and passes me my crutches.
"Let's go now!"
She runs out of the room, excited to go to the mall, not ever having been to one her entire life. I laugh at her antics and yell out, not knowing if she'll even hear me,
"I can't walk that fast, you know!"
She shouts back something inaudible and I laugh, happy she's so excited to do something. I limp out of my room and see Yeosang standing down the hallway with Yiren clinging onto him, talking to him in an excited voice.
"Yay! You're finally here!"
She exclaims, running down the stairs. I look at Yeosang, who seems very shocked to see Yiren so happy for something that has nothing to do with him or me. I laugh at him and say,
"You're on babysitting duty, bye!!"
I try to sprint from him as fast as I can, the crutches making it a full exercise routine.
"Hey! You can't even walk properly, stop trying to run!"
I just stick my tongue out at him and continue to 'run' if you can even call it that.
"You can't stop me!"
I stop in front of the stairs and slowly place a crutch on the next step, then carefully lower my body to that step. I keep doing this till I reach the bottom of the stairs. I exhale a breath of sweet relief of no more steps and head to the shoe closet. I grab my shoes and go to the living room to put them on. There Yiren already has her shoes on and is waiting on the coach, swinging her legs.
"There you are! Let me help you put your shoes on!"
I chuckle and reply with,
"It's fine, I'm pretty sure I can do them on my own."
She didn't take no for an answer, she ended up forcing me to let her help me with my shoes.
"Where's Yeosaang!"
