"You have said it before, Yeri is an extremely valuable asset, she's better than me! If you give her a chance and actually include her in the team, she won't do anything that could hurt the team. You were going to give her a chance anyway, all that has changed is you found out her she's related to, that shouldn't make a difference in weather she gets a second chance or not."
He sighs and messages his temple,
"Fine, she can stay, but that doesn't mean I trust her a hundred percent."
I smile and thank him repeatedly as I run out of the room, re-entering to say,
"Oh, yeah, we need to make both the girls bracelets."
"Ask them what they want their charms to be, I'll tell Mingi and Yunho to start making them."
I nod and skip all the way back to Yeri's room. I walk in and immediately start talking, not bothering to look around first.
"I convinced him to let her stay!!"
Yiren looks up at me and quickly shushes me,
"Keep your voice down, she just woke up."
"She's up!?"
I look at her and she groans at how loud I am.
"Sorry,"
I say sheepishly before running up to her and giving her a gentle embrace, making sure I don't touch her injuries.
"How are you feeling? Do you need anything? Water? Food?"
She cuts me off laughing,
"Yeosang, calm down. I'm alive and fine. I wouldn't mind some food though."
I take a deep breath and smile, glad I didn't have to lose a sister again.
"Okay, what do you want to eat?"
"I don't care, I just want some food."
She smiles at me, I return the smile and get up to go get both the girls food.
"Oh yeah. We're going to make you two bracelets, like the one I'm wearing. Everyone has one."
I show them the bracelet on my wrist, an azure dragon charm dangling from the chain bracelet.
"Looks dainty, but not even a bullet can break it. Anyway, everyone customizes their charm, so start thinking about your charm."
They nod and I leave to get us all food.
- 25 minutes later -
I enter the room with a bag of food and place it on the coffee table.
"Ta-da! I bought a lot of food, so eat up!"
They smile and I take out the food, giving Yeri her box. Yiren and I stay at the coffee table as a comfortable silence falls in the room. I break the silence by asking,
"Have y'all thought about what charm you want?"
Yiren speaks up first,
"Yeah! I want mine to be a crescent moon!"
I nod as I smile, knowing the meaning behind the symbol. It was the day Chaewon and I found her. Yiren always loved the meanings behind moon phases and we found her on a night with a crescent moon, which symbolizes rebirth and eternity. When we took her in she was given a new life, rebirth. And she said if we ever lost each other we will keep on finding our way back to one another for the rest of eternity.
