Chapter -17-

"I'm sorry, I should have never hurt you like that. I let myself take out my anger for Yuchan on you. My sister really meant the world to me, but I shouldn't have let myself go so far. I know this won't make you feel better, but I hope you know I would never sexually harass anyone. I was desperate. I really didn't mean to hurt you this badly."

She takes a deep breath and looks him in the eye.

Chapter -17-

"It doesn't matter if you didn't mean harm, you still couldn't contain yourself. I wanted to get revenge on the man who tore my family apart, not his family who hadn't done anything to hurt me."

He looks down, clearly upset at himself.

"Just because I listened to your apology, doesn't mean we can start talking normally now, hell, I don't even want to see you at the moment. And I'm not planning on forcing myself to forgive you, so don't expect forgiveness for a while."

He nods in understanding, disappointed with her response. He had walked in the room hoping for her to forgive him fully, unfortunately he read her response wrong and thought she meant, 'I'll see if I want to or not.' He debates on how to respond and ends up saying,

"I'm truly sorry, I really mean it."

She just nods, dismissing him. Once he's gone Yeri asks,

"Can you call Hongjoong? I wanna ask him something."

I nod and text him to come over to Yeri's room.

"Also what happened to my painkillers? My body hurts like shit."

She laughs and immediately winces.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry, here."

Yiren panics, handing Yeri the pill. She takes the pill and Yiren makes sure Yeri's taken the rest of her medication. I turn to Wooyoung, who has been awkwardly standing next to the bed.

"Thank you, I don't know what I would have done if you hadn't shown up."

He smiles in appreciation and says,

"I just did what I used to do for Chaewon."

Just as Wooyoung leaves the room, Hongjoong walks in the room. He looks at Yeri and his eyes widen seeing her injuries,

"How have you been?"

"Everything hurts like shit, but other than that, I'm fine."

"Hope you get better soon. Why did you call me over?"

She takes a deep breath and say,

"I think I want to try finding him again."

"Yeri, you do remember last we tried, right?"

"Yeah, it didn't lead to anything, but can we at least try again?"

He sighs and says,

"We don't even know who the person is, we just have guesses."

"But we know his name."

"Yeah, just his first, he could go by something else on the field."

I interrupt them by asking,

"Who are you guys talking about?"

Yeri looks at me and says.

"The man who tortured me when I was a kid."

"I can help, we can ask Mingi as well. He's really good at finding a lot of information from very little."

Yeri looks at Hongjoong, her eyes begging him to say yes.
