Lachlan's POV
The sun seemed to shine through my dark room and casted shadows along the ground as I yawned. I stretched lightly, feeling and hearing a few pops of my bones. I shuffled out of bed with a hooded expression, not at all liking the feeling of the morning time.
I stumbled to my dresser and searched for my normal attire. I grabbed it and made my way to the shower, which I turned on and tested gingerly to make sure it wasn't too cold or hot before stripping and stepping in.
I lathered my body in soap and cleaned it off before doing the same to my hair and scrubbing it away. After drying off and having got dressed, I brushed my teeth and walked to my front door to leave, the ache of my stomach never seeming to leave my mind.
The sun was warm, a little too warm, and I found myself quite uncomfortable as the scorching rays slapped at my pale complexion. I rushed to the black Camaro parked in my driveway and quickly drove to the school.
Parking in a spot, I found everyone watching my car in amazement. It was foreign over her, and it had been shipped from America, but I still adored it all the same.
After having shoved through crowds of lively people, I made it inside and yawned loudly. It was way too early for this, but it's not like I would ever have a say in that.
I looked around, trying to at least find Mitch, Rob or Brandon, and after realizing I had plenty of time to do so, I did.
Even becoming lost at times, I wandered the hallways and found myself at a door leading outside, but I would have walked away had I not heard the whimpers and shouts of pain and torment on the other side.
My heart leaped into my throat the moment I slammed the door open, and there on the ground laid Mitch and Rob brutally being beat by the two who were supposed to be their friends.
Sick is what I felt as I looked at each of them, and Preston looked more terrified than any of them. Mitch's face was cut up and bruised, swollen in spots that would be uncomfortable. Rob looked like a mirror of Mitch, but his nose was crooked, and I knew instantly that the pricks had broke it.
I growled lowly, seeing the bullies eyes meet mine. Preston turned towards me, his tears piercing his eyes and falling down his cheeks with no resistance. He was quick to bound towards me, tackling me into a hug and crying loudly on my shoulder and chest.
I rubbed his back the best I could, whispering soothing words when I knew it was needed, but he was set on one thing, and I knew I had to fulfil it. "Please save Rob," he had whispered, and I gently moved around the sobbing boy and noticed him collapse to the ground and cling to his knees.
I walked towards the two boys, anger flooding through my eyes like rockets. "Why? What had they ever done to you to deserve this?" I hissed, and Jerome was quick to straighten up, "They left us for you, that is what!"
Upon nearing them, I noticed that Mitch and Rob were well past a simple cleaning up and going on with the day. The two needed medical assistance and quick.
"What are you going to do about it, bitch?" Vikk laughed, but I had frozen still.
I walked in my school while humming silently. For years, I had never been the go to guy or the most hot guy, but I learned to keep moving no matter what. I moved quickly, but I stumbled as I caught a glimpse of the school bully heading full force towards me with a sick smirk plastered to his dull face. Never had I been targeted by him, as I had never done anything to earn his bullying, but he was rushing right towards me with the look of bloodlust in those cold eyes.
