Skyli's POV

Wyatt did as he said and went to sleep early. I washed the dishes and cleaned around the house a bit before I fed Grace and rocked her to sleep. When I went to Wyatt's room, he was out peacefully. I smiled slightly and pulled the covers over him a bit more. He grumbled under his breath and pulled the covers tighter. I put his phone on the charger before I moved to the other side of the bed. I set Grace in the pillow protector that Wyatt got for her while I as at school. She slept better when she was with us. I changed into my pajamas before getting in on the other side of the bed. I kissed Grace's head before laying my head on the pillow.

"Goodnight Gracie... Goodnight Wyatt," I whispered. It was only a second before I was off to sleep as well.

*Wyatt's POV*

I woke with a start when I felt my phone vibrate. It was almost ten. I got up and showered quickly before getting dressed and putting my laptop in my car. I put all my tools in before I went back to my room. Skyli was curled around Grace's protective pillow. They were adorable. I kissed Grace's head before I just looked at Skyli. She truly was something unexpected. I kissed Skyli's head as well before I stood straight and smiled at their sleeping figures.

"I'll be back," I promised before I grabbed my jacket and left. I drove to the venue and saw that this was going to be a long night. It was almost 10:30 pm and there were a few people scattered about. That meant the party would actually start much, much later. I sighed and parked in the back to unload my things. I set up in the DJ booth and started playing a few tracks. I couldn't help but let my thoughts drift to Skyli and Grace. I smiled a little at the thought. They were my girls.

"Hey Wyatt," my buddy, Davis said, coming into the booth. Davis was the son of the club owner. He's the one who set me up with this place a year ago and I've been DJing here ever since. I did the whole bro-shake thing as my thoughts came back to reality.

"Davis. What's up man?" I said, smiling. He looked at me and chuckled.

"Bro, you look exhausted," he noted. I only shrugged.

"Gracie keeps me up all day and all night," I slipped.

"Gracie? Wyatt, did you finally let a girl stay more than a day?" he asked. I laughed at the fact that I actually had two girls staying.

"Gracie is only a few months old, Davis," I explained. I had to have one person I could trust in on this besides Skyli. Davis didn't look convinced. I pulled out my phone and showed him my screensaver of Grace and me. He looked at the picture and back to me.

"Dude, you have a baby?" he asked. I shrugged.

"Technically, yes and no," I said. He looked even more confused. I sighed and looked as the crowd started to grow. "Look, I'll explain after this is over," I promised. I turned back to my setup and got to work.

I finally got to breakdown and leave around three in the morning. It was actually earlier than I was expecting. Davis and I went out for coffee afterwards so I could explain the situation.

"So let me get this straight: your super hot neighbor brought over a baby that is not hers and asked you to help her take care of said baby... and you, of all people, agreed? But the baby belongs to some random girl who just left her with Sky," he asked. I nodded. He shook his head and puffed out a breath. "And now Sky is practically living in your house and you two are raising a baby together, but you have no interest in her whatsoever?" he asked. I nodded.

"Exactly."

Davis sighed and rolled his eyes before he was leaning forward with his hands pressed against the table.

"Have you seen Sky? How can you not catch a thing for her. She's funny, smart, gorgeous, and she's normally unattached," he said. I shrugged as I stared into the dark pools of my coffee.

"I don't know, she gets all motherly and stuff to Gracie, and I just... You know how I am with girls, Davis. I don't want Sky to be just another conquest to me. She's too special for that," I tried to explain. Davis grinned and leaned back in the booth before folding his arms.

"You actually like her. Like choir boy, puppy dog eyes, like her," he said. I felt myself blush as I tried to deny it.

"I-I just think that she's different," I tried to play it off but it was too late.

"You really like her," he smiled. "Wait, so if you like her, what's holding you back?" He asked.

"We have Grace and everything, and I don't want to hurt her," I replied honestly.

"Then don't go out of your way to hurt her," he said. I sighed and looked at my phone. It was time for me to go home.

"I have to go, but we'll catch up later, okay?" I said, standing. Davis chuckled.

"Oh you better believe it," he said before he picked up his coffee again. I drove home and made it just in time. Skyli liked to start getting ready at 6. It was 5:45. Gracie was just starting to wake up. Her little cries were beginning to build. I quickly picked her up and took her to the makeshift diaper room we had set up. I changed her and fed her before I sat her in her chair in front of the TV. I went back to my room and turned on the shower. When it was a comfortable temperature. I picked up Sky bridal style and carried her into the bathroom. I sat her on the counter and rubbed her back gently as she leaned forward and rested her head against my shoulder.

"Come on, time to get up and get ready for school," I said quietly. "Look, I already have the shower running for you," I said. She groaned before she lifted her head and glared at me. I chuckled and pushed her hair out of her face.

"I'm not going," she grumbled, crossing her arms.

"Come on, we already talked about this," I tried. She only put her head back on my shoulder and wrapped her arms around my neck.

"Please don't make me go," she whined. It almost sounded like she was crying. I shushed her and rubbed her back gently. I couldn't say no to that. I picked her up off the counter and she wrapped her legs around my waist. I carried her back to the bed and laid her down gently.

"Alright, you don't have to go but this is a one day only pass because you look so tired," I caved.
