In the darkness
We lay awake
We never sleep
What we harness
Evidence, they break
They bite, they swallow
They will do everything in their power
To prove ourselves
Hollow
"Go away,"
They screamed.
"Go away,"
"And never come back."
We tried being loud,
We tried coming out
But they will push us in
And shut us out.
"Your disgusting,"
They screeched,
With horrible grammar
"Fuck yourselves!"
We know
To always support the victim
But what if,
The victim was lying?
What if,
The villain was the scapegoat?
What if?
Society,
What if?
