Sighing with perfect pitch
Upon an iceberg,
Drinking tequilas
With you on the top and I at the bottom
I've dug a rabbit hole in the ice
And found myself face to face with blue dice
And a submarine
Darling, what am I to do?
I like to think that I'm
The only girl you're married to,
Platonically
You texted me
Saying if I don't like it, I should leave
You can hurt me with your words
But I'm always here
Not sure if I want to,
Not sure if I should be here
You can apply the burn cream on my skin
But I'll still be here for you
I'm still standing for you
This just in
You're a total stranger to me
I've come to the realisation that
I'll spend my time here with you meaninglessly
Attempting to make you laugh
Half the things I want from you
Isn't worth the price of a plastic cup,
And I'll be seeing you soon
The notebook paper is filled with rows and rows
Of incomprehensible handwriting
I'm not paranoid, I'm a realist.
I know you're going to leave me on read.
