I once knew a girl
Who had fog for eyes
And the sun for her smile
I once knew a girl
Who had teeth for lips
And void for their face
I once knew a boy
Who would cry
And sorrow as a girl would
Just because his dog died
I once knew a boy
Who loved pink and dresses
"Like a girl would"
Nobody liked them
They never had, at all
After all, they were
Different
To be seen but not to be heard
Nobody liked them,
Until they did
When they realised thay
We are not so different,
After all.
