Ladies and gentlemen
This is the moment you’ve waited for
All those
years in darkness,
Your footsteps taunting, testing the limits of expectations and ropes
All those years
Of gliding through fire-blazing hoops, unsure if you’ll get burnt by the hungered heat
Yet, we can fix that.
We know
That underneath the surface, the heat, the ice
There is a child.
A child waiting to fulfil his desire
Of wonderment,
Of ambition,
Of courage.
So don't you see,
It's a barrel of clay that careens to you,
It's a tapestry of coloured strings that's made of poetry
There's something blocking you, a sturdy brick wall
That holds all you know
So tell me, do you want to go
Where spotlights shine on your eyes
Where the fires burn out the night
Where the strings are taking you,
Away from the truth
This is
The greatest
