What's it to you?
When you downed another rainbow
And got drunk on teardrops
When you drank the blood of him
Like a vampire to it's prey
Luring in the mice to play
When you do that one thing
Where you wrinkle your nosebridge
You get high on insecurity
Addictive, crippling insecurity
Make sure no one says no to you
And play chess with your fears
So whats it to you?
When you played with words
The same way a lover
Plays with their hair,
Fragile, loving
Behind a mask of sorrow
The lawyer, the defendant and the judge
All sit in a court of lies
They built upon a golden throne
So what's it to you?
When you touched my hand,
Delicate as a flower,
Mix lies with words
Sew threads of truth in
Into a wretched,
Golden,
Delicate thread,
And binded me to you?
