Danny smiled to himself. The moon had drug down the sky bringing with it all the cool and freshness Danny's days had been lacking.

It was slightly windy making Danny's hair go in different directions. He made his way past the first layer of defense. Just an ordinary garden wall. Danny just barely grazed by the second level.

Danny could tell where the sensors were. If he accidentally set one off that would be the end of his little nighttime walk.

Danny carefully dodged the sensors, floating just a bit above them. There were no armed guards.

Now all that was left was hopping the fence, after jogging down the incredibly long driveway.

There had to be a better way, then again, it felt like Danny's paranoia couldn't leave him as long as he practiced in the manor.

Danny cried in silent relief. He was now successfully outside the walls of Wayne Manor.

Damien scoffed as he followed Danny. He was terrible at evading the cameras. Not only that but Damien had to disable more than one sensor after Danny almost set them off.

Why was he sneaking out if he was so bad at it?

Still, he couldn't afford to have Danny be caught before he figured out what he was up to.

Damien knew something was off about him. Danny's hoodie felt snug on Damien, protecting him from the wind.

Not that he would need protection, as part of his training Damien endured several harsh climates. A slight breeze couldn't even graze him.

It did have a calming affect, another reason Damien wore it. It was all just a test of course.

As Danny jogged off beyond the gate, Damien slipped from the shadows to follow him.

Danny made his way through the streets. Gotham wasn't any less busy at night, the only difference is that the people who walk Gotham at night are people who have little left to loose.

Danny wasn't sure if he fit in that category. He couldn't be trusted and he couldn't trust. It was a battle in which neither side was moving an inch either way.

He briefly wondered if he might run into Dick or Tim out here, seeing as they left at night.

He hoped not. He didn't have a cover story for sneaking out.

His phone rang startling him. He fished it out of pocket and pressed the call button.

"Hello?"

Danny nervously laughed in response to something someone said on the other line.

"Yeah I'm at Bruce's right now. You woke me up just now actually" he lied as he looked around.

He paused, "no, no problems at school anymore. You don't have to worry about me Jazz. I'm taken care of."

He smiled sadly, "you should focus on yourself and college."

Danny walked past a store, "no. Look I'm gonna go to sleep now. We'll talk later ok?"

"Goodbye"

"Liar" Damien scoffed under his breathe. Suddenly Danny's stance shifted.

Around the corner Danny could hear muffled arguing coming from the dead end alley.

A sense of urgency fell over Danny and he cautiously peeked around the corner. A man was harassing a women, for what, he didn't know.

Without his powers he sure he could do much. If he wanted to help he would have to get the drop on this guy.
