The pair glanced at the kid asleep in front of them, his head slumped forward.

"Harles, I don't think this was a good idea"

Harley looked at the kid.

"What do you mean? Look at him, he's fine. He probably needed the sleep anyway"

Ivy groaned, "seriously, I support you in all that you do but kidnapping is a bit...much"

Harley grinned " I just wanna ask him a few questions. Besides, someone would've kidnapped him sooner or later. Isn't it a good thing it's me"

Ivy didn't even bother answering that.

"Well time to wake him up" Harley ssid going to the kitchen of their shared apartment. She filled up a jug of water and came back with it.

"Wakey wakey, rise and shine" she said pouring it on him.

Danny's head snapped up so fast he cracked it. His eyes darted from left to right as if expecting to find something. When he saw Harley and Ivy he relaxed, then he realized his situation and grew tense again.

He opened his mouth as if to say something but he must've thought better of it before he shut it.

"Good morning!" Harley exclaimed.

"It's dark out Harles" Ivy chimed in.

"U-uhm" the two looked at him.

"I'm sorry"

Ivy furrowed her eyebrows and Harley tilted her head.

"I know that's probably why you kidnapped me, but I swear I didn't kill the Joker on purpose. It just kind of, happened."

Harley looked at him as she processed what he was talking about, then she burst out laughing.

"Are ya joking? I didn't kidnap you for revenge, thats way too cliche. Honestly that clown faced prick had it coming"

Ivy smiled at the insult.

Danny seemed confused.

"Then why did you kidnap me?"

Harley sat down backwards on a chair, "cause I knew you wouldn't listen to me if I didn't"

Danny thought about it for a moment, yeah he probably wouldn't have.

"I heard how Joker died, it must've been hard for you" Ivy said.

"Yeah, it was. I don't kill people" Danny said.

"I just wanted ya to know if you ever need a place your an honorary guest of mine" Harley said.

"Thanks?"

"Oh yeah, also watch your head, there's gonna be a lot a people out to getcha. That's all!"

Ivy went to untie him and gave him a pocket knife before she opened the window.

Why did Danny suddenly feel like a bug? He climbed out onto the fire escape and they closed the window.

"Where...am I?" He asked himself once he was on the ground.

He patted his pockets but his phone was gone.

Danny looked around for a payphone, finally a block later he found one. Of course he had to scour the street to find a quarter but once he did he made a phone call to Dick.

Dick sat perched on a roof keeping an eye out for a teenager while the rest searched empty warehouse and known hideouts.

With each passing hour they were growing more and more frustrated. Suddenly Dicks phone went off. He connected it to the com lines in case it was a ransom.
