"Is liz home?"

The next day my phone's text tone kept going off. It was 5:30 am on a WONDERFUL Monday morning.

NOTE THE SARCASM

I got out of bed and walked to my desk, taking my phone off of the charger.
"Good God." I stated very surprised I had this many texts at this time in the morning.

Ashton ;P: Hey Cai, it's Ashton. I also had a great time. I know you probably won't get this until morning so good morning.

😏 Cai 😏: Hi, good morning ☀️.

😏 Cai 😏: I gtg get ready for school but I'll ttyl at lunch maybe?

I set my phone on my bed and went to the bathroom to shower.

"Luke, can you come over to my house and help me with this fucking math?" I whined walking with Luke to my locker which was on the way to lunch.

"Sure, Cai." He said laughing a bit.

Luke was my best guy friend and we are almost always hanging out. I know I say Rebekah is my bestie but lately her boyfriend has been taking up most of her time.

I sat down at our lunch table which consists of Calum, Abel, Luke, Michael, and I.

We always go over to each other's house and hang out after school.

"So where is this Ashton guy?" Luke asked me with a look of amusement.

I just rolled my eyes and grabbed my phone out of my back pocket of my jeans. I had a text from Ashton earlier but my mom was home and made breakfast so me loving waffles, I stopped what I was doing to eat them.

*text from earlier*

Ashton ;P: ok bye I'll see you at lunch 😎

*current time*

😏 Cai 😏: where ya at?

Ashton ;P: I'm otw to lunch, wbu?

😏 Cai 😏: I'm at lunch. Do you want me to save you a spot, new guy? 😏

Ashton ;P: yes please lol 🙌😂

😏 Cai 😏: ok well Luke, Calum, abel, michael, and I are over at the vending machines

Ashton: ok otw, thanks

"Ashton is on the way." I said turning to Luke, who was sitting across the table from me.

We waited about 30 more seconds when this curly headed, 6 foot boy walked up to the table and sat down beside me.

By now everyone was slightly quiet in the cafeteria. They were staring at me and Ashton like it was weird for me to sit with him or some shit, Like da fuq wrong with people, they think it's ok to stare at some weird noodle girl and this curly fry boy that was attractive. God, people nowadays.

"Hey." He said smiling at all of us. I snapped out of my ranting mode, coming back into reality.

"Hi." We all replied while Luke waved.

We sat their until lunch period was over just discussing different things and what we were gonna do afterwards.

School was over and I was walking with Luke to my car to wait for the boys. I asked them all if Ashton, since he was the new guy, could come with us.

"The guys should be here in less than five minutes. I know Calum had gym and that's a good 4 minute walk." He said looking at the main exit of our high school.

Ashton ;P: are we meeting at your car?

😏 Cai 😏: yes, do you want to ride with me or do you want to ride with my friend, Abel?

Ashton ;P: you but is that ok?

😏 Cai 😏: of course lol how far are you?

Ashton ;P: I'm about to walk out.

😏 Cai 😏: kk 😋

"Luke, who's riding with Abel?" I asked Luke, turning towards him. we could all legally drive but me and Abel were the only ones with a car. I don't know about Ashton though. Abel was parked beside me because we are a squad ;P.

My car was a 2010 Nissan Juke which was the color sliver and Abel drove a 2014 Kia Soul in the color black.

Luke and I were leaning up against my car an our phones. I looked up to see Ashton walking out of school, smiling at me. I waved and smiled back.

I unlocked my car and Ashton took the front seat since Luke was polite enough to give Ash the front seat plus Luke claimed 'it would allow us to flirt with each other'. I just rolled my eyes at that thought.

I pulled out my phone while all three of us waited. I decided to text Michael.

Cai 😎: where are you dipshits? We ARE waiting.

Kitty 😺: Calum ran into Jenna and you know how they are. 😒

I groaned loudly at the that text because Jenna was basically Calum's crush since freshman year. I guess he was to nervous to ask her out or some shit.

"Well Calum ran into Jenna." I stated turning around to luke who was in the back seat of my car. I rolled my eyes at the thought, knowing it would be a good damn hour until they would shut up. Luke looked up at me, groaning loudly at that thought also.

I sent michael another text.

Cai 😎: get his ass out here now!!!

I was sure Ashton was confused.

"I'll explain later." I whispered, leaning towards Ashton and he just simply nodded, giving me a smile. I smiled back turning towards the school and noticing three dipshits walking towards the parking lot. I started my car, turning up the volume just a little so we could still talk but still hear the music.

The three guys got in abel's car and I drove off to Luke's because we planned at lunch to go over there.

"Is Liz home?" I asked Luke as we came to a stop light. Abel was following me even though he has been to Luke's before.

"Yeah but she won't make us do homework 'cause we don't have any." He said with his thumbs up and a huge grin.

"Thank god." I said sighing in relief. we usually get TONS of homework on Mondays. My 18th birthday was in a week and I was hoping we could celebrate.

A/N: just noticed my chapters are getting bigger and bigger. I hope you guys liked this chapter it was going to be bigger but I felt that I should stop at 1118 words lol. Also I don't use correct grammar when they text because most people don't and I'm just trying to make it seem funnier and more realistic. comment any questions on the story of things are confusing lol but here is the double update. I plan on updating tomorrow after I get done with driving xD but we will see and I'll post it on my page on wether or not.
