"I like odd."

Ashton's POV:
I woke up to green day's American idiot playing on my phone which indicated that it was 6:00 am. I was pretty siked because tonight I take Mordecai out for our second date.

Anyways, I grabbed my book bag and ran down the stair to enjoy some breakfast with my family.

I dropped my bag on the floor next to the door and I had my phone in my back pocket. My mom was in a robe and she had her blonde hair in a high bun. She was pouring coffee in a cup when I came into the kitchen.

"Do you have work today?" I asked my mom as I grabbed a bowl out of the cupboard and a spoon out of the drawer.

She turned to me and took a sip out of her coffee.
"Yes but I don't have to go until one." She replied.

I walked over to our fridge and grabbed the cereal off the top, then I grabbed the milk out of the fridge.

"Ok. Is Harry and Lauren riding the bus from school?" I asked because I don't have a car yet.

"Yes they are so you need to be here by 4:00 to help them with their homework." My mom said.

"I will but I really need to get a job so I can buy a car." I informed my mom.
"Ok honey, I'll take you Friday after school to look for a job but you have to keep your grades up." She said walking over to the table.

I grabbed my bowl of cereal and sat down at the table.
"Lauren......Harry!" My mom yelled. They don't have to get on the bus till seven but they need to eat breakfast.

Lauren came downstairs with her hair in a ponytail and she wore this pink dress with black flats. She gently put her bag by the door and grabbed a bowl and a spoon.

She plopped down on the chair next to me and sighed.
"What's wrong with you?" I asked because I was genuinely concerned.

"I have a test today." She replied laughing.
"Oh, well good luck." I responded and then I shot her a smile back.

Lauren smiled back and then I heard Harry walking down the steps.

"G'day mate." I said very happily because I love my family. We are all so weird yet we love each other.

"Mornin." Harry said as he set his bag by the door. Harry grabbed a a bowl and spoon and sat down next to mom.

"You guys ready for school?" Mom asked us since she was the only one not eating something right now.

"Yes!" We all said in unison.

After school, mordecai and I walked to her car. Yes, we are going on a date tonight but I still need a ride from someone.

When we got to her house we basically separated so that both of us could get ready.

I got my homework done before Harry and Lauren got off the bus luckily I put a pizza in the oven as soon as I got home because those kids fucking destroyed the pizza.

Earlier at breakfast, I told my mom that I was going on a date and that she needed to be back by 6:00.

My mom got home at 5:30 while I was getting ready. Lauren and Harry were playing in the backyard with the soccer ball.

Mordecai's POV:

Ashton came and got me at exactly 6:00 and now he was driving me to god knows where.

I was wearing a black maxi dress with some rainbow sandals and I had my swimsuit underneath while my medium length, curly, blonde-dyed hair was down.

I loved how Ashton's hair flowed in the wind as he drove with the windows down. He looked so godly.

"Ashton?" I asked breaking the silence. There was music playing lightly in the background.
