"So you're an Aussie?"

I woke up to Ashton staring at me so I put my hands over my face as color grew in my cheeks.

"How long have you been up?" I asked peeking through my fingers.

He just smiled at me.

"Are you trying to be a stalker?" I asked him jokingly.

"No but you're so beautiful, it's hard not to stare." He said.

I was partially surprised he said this because no one has ever told me this. I mean for heavens sake, I haven't even had my first boyfriend.

"Thank you but no, I'm just a Mordecai." I stated smiling at Ashton. I shoved my face into Ashton's pillow so he couldn't see me blush.

"Mordecai, look at me." Ashton demanded in a sympathetic tone. I didn't move so he grabbed me, not harshly, and made me look at him.

"yyyeeeessssss?" I asked dragging out the word while looking up from the floor and giving him a cheesy smile.

"Mordecai, your beautiful and unique in your own way and that's what I like about you." Ashton said seriously but managed to have a smile on his face.

I hugged Ashton and he pulled me on his lap with one leg on either side of him, straddling him.

"Ashton, can I show you something?" I asked looking him in the face.

He started laughing and then said "Yes."

I attempted to get up but Ashton wouldn't let go of my waist.

"Where are we going?" He asked.

"Put some shoes on and follow me." I told him, getting up and sliding my Sperry's on. I walked out of his room and fixed my hair by putting it up in a bun.

I was wearing leggings and a 'plants are friends' crop top.

I left my phone on the counter and sat on the couch waiting for Ashton to come out of his room.

Ashton came out of his room in skinny jeans and a nirvana shirt.

He left a note for his mom because she hadn't woken up yet.

"Ready to go?" I asked smiling.

"yeah, let's go." he agreed grabbing my hand.

HOLY SHIT HE IS HOLDING MY HAND!!!!!!!!! XD

I led him to the beach that my family owned near by. No one was allowed on it with out my family or I's permission.

"Wow Mordecai, this place is beautiful." Ashton said with a look of shock on his face.

"I know Ashton, I like to come out here and read or write." I said shifting my gaze from the water to Ashton's face.
"This is my one happy place and I wanted to show you." I said staring into his heavenly hazel eyes.

Ashton and I stayed at the beach for probably two hours before we went back to his house.
"You know, I was born in Australia but shortly after, I moved to North Carolina and then about four years ago my dad that raised me died from colon cancer so my mom got remarried." I said looking up at Ashton as we walked side by side, holding hands (😏).

Ashton was speechless. All he could do was either look at me or our hands.

"What are you thinking?" I asked Ashton. His gaze shifting from in front of us to down at my face.

"I was just thinking, how could someone so beautiful, have such a damn hard life?"

"I don't think it was really hard, I mean yes at certain times it was but what doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger." I said looking from my feet up to Ashton's face with a smirk on mine.

"So you're an Aussie?" He asked with this grin on his face. we ended up both giggling because he was acting like a goof.

"Originally, yes. My family, I guess, can't get their shit together so I'm also multi-racial." I said obviously laughing REALLY hard because I crack myself up all the time.

"What part of Australia are you from?" He asked obviously curious.

"Oh I'm from Melbourne." I said remembering my mom talking about going to Melbourne this summer. I guess thinking about that made this huge grin spread on my face because Ashton started laughing.

"What's so funny?" I asked him with a smile.

"Your face went from a complete serious one to a huge grin one in like two seconds and it was just funny to me." He said in all seriousness.
"Well my mom offered me a trip to Melbourne this summer." I said and Ashton's eyes grew.

"What's wrong?" I asked confused.

"Well I just moved from Australia but I'm supposed to take a trip to Sydney this summer in the month of July." He said smiling huge.

I just stared back at him, returning the same smile.

"Maybe you can meet Lauren and harry." Ashton stated as we walked in to his house.

"Yeah, maybe." I said walking to the counter to check my phone.
Ashton walked up the stairs to, I'm guessing, go see if Lauren and Harry were home.

I was on snapchat for probably five minutes when Ashton, a girl who looked about 14, and a boy who looked about 11, came down the stairs, stopping in front of me.

"Mordecai, this is Lauren" Ashton said pointing to the girl who looked about 14.
"And this is Harry."

"Hi, I'm Mordecai." I said giving both of them a smile.
I opened my arms for a hug and Lauren walked towards me. I had already gotten off of the chair in front of the counter and gave her a hug followed by harry.
We ended up watching sponge bob on the couch for a few hours.

After the recent episode ended, Ashton, Lauren, and Harry had dosed off on the couch. It was about six o'clock so I decided I should go home and eat dinner with my mom, if she was even home.

I grabbed my bag and left a note Ashton.

'Thanks for a great time :P

1077 words guys, holy shit! Ok so I have been busy since my dad has terminal cancer :( but he's out of the hospital and I also have to go on a trip so hopefully I can do a quadruple update like the day before or something lol.
Help me come up with a ship name pwease. I will try to update chapter four tonight so yea ;D.
